Sparrowpaw pushed her muzzle so close to the gray tom's, they almost touched. "And?" she growled lowly. "I didn't have much before that battle, either, you know."

This skinny excuse for a cat, thought Sparrowpaw, really, truly was stupid if he had actually taken on two RiverClan warriors knowing he was going to get practically mauled.

Sparrowpaw shrugged languidly, despite her struggle to grapple with that swelling spark of anger; after all, she was well aware that hurting the small apprentice - as much as she wanted to - would only get her punished.
"I mean.. you're not wrong," she giggled. "It's just what establishes my superiority over you - my tenacity."
