"basilkit!" Emberkit yelled out, not wanting to make the kit feel bad "don't.... know..... Dawn!" He kept trying to say words, calming down he tried to return Heatherkit's lick, barely being able to reach the kit @Zesty Mango @wolfnight

Heatherkit smiled and moved his head a little closer, making it so the kit could reach him. "You're very nice for learning Basilkit just for her." He yawned, turning to lick his flank scars. He was suddenly flashed back to past. A warrior was looming over him. The warrior sank her claws into his side and he yowled in pain. She dug her claws into his back. He was breathing heavily with a far away look i his eyes as he relieved the scene. He started at the entrance, wishing the memory would go away, but it was as real as the day it happened.

"No, I think Dawnlight fits me better!" She mewed, puffing up her chest. "I think Brightflame looks pretty ticked off..." She looked at the queen, who looked like she'd rather be able to keep to her kits and rest. Heatherkit was pulled out of the memory. He looked at Emebrkit, shaking. He got up, needing some fresh air. He shook hi pelt and sat by the entrance to he nursery, letting the breeze blow through his fur.

Emberkit looked excitedly at Basilkit before beginning to mew for Heatherkit, worried about her, his fur bristled "Heatherkit.. sad.. play.. with.. B-Ba-Basilkit!"

He looked confused at the young tom "w-why? Hungry?" He asked, wanting to help his newfound friend. He looked at Basilkit "how help kit Heather?" He asked with his broken speech
