Oh stars, that enthusiasm was probably going to get on his nerves huh? Smiling down towards the apprentice, Splotchleaf glanced around as he thought over what would most likely be best for the young cat to do first. After everything with Windclan, maybe it’d be best for her to have some battle training. He didn’t feel like getting snapped at by Dawnstar for his apprentice being unable to fight.
‘But..if she learned hunting first she could provide for the clan quicker,’ his first apprentice and the tom couldn’t even make up his mind. Taking a deep breath to steady himself, he peered back at Juniperpaw with a smile “we’ll start with battle training, that sound good to you?” ‘hunting can wait,’. He’d probably take her hunting a sunrise or two after her battle training to give her a rest.

This cat was nothing like Tigerpaw. Tigerpaw would have stood up for herself, or pointed out the obvious sadness in her voice. But Tigerpaw was dead and no one could be just like her. "Let's see, I assume you've already seen the territory?" She phrased it like a question, but it wasn't. "Anyway, let's start with some battle training so you can move on to preparing for the upcoming battle." Keep it blunt and simple. That way she wouldn't start to cry. Falconfeather swept her tail over her paws, and headed for the exit.

I’ve seen the territory all right thought mosspaw I saw it when I went looking for lionkit she thought to herself a bit of grief held her for a moment but she shook it away ok she said looking a falconfeather @Pheasantflight

With every announcement his eyes seemed to grew wider and wider. Shifting in his spot her grumbled with a low growl “Kestrelstar is mousebrained for doing that.” he was still processing everything else as he got that one but out.

Seeing his apprentice, a smile grew along his muzzle and her motioned for Darkpaw to join him. Though, when Dawnstar started speaking, the quick smile fell just as fast as it had come.

Terror stirred in her belly as she lowered her ears. She wasn’t sure she could do what Dawnstar wanted of them, it’d take pushing herself, but she’d do it. She didn’t feel like having Dawnstar view her as disloyal.

Darkpaw moved closer to Flametail.

"Yeah!" Juniperpaw loved battle training. Win or lose, it was just like a game! The only problem was that Tigerlily hadn't taken the time to teach her how to fight. "I've never actually fought anyone before, so act like I'm intermediate." Under no circumstances would she be called a beginner, though that was the reality. She was lucky enough to have a seemingly good mentor though, which helped. "Let's go!" Juniperpaw leapt in the air and spun around, landing heavily on her feet and stumbling onto her side. Standing up, she raced for the exit before stopping. Where were they headed again?

Falconfeather turned and slipped out of the clearing, expecting Mosspaw to follow her. It was that simple. If this apprentice did everything necessary, this could be finished as soon as possible, and she could go back to being alone. She would train Mosspaw to the best of her abilities, but anything more would be a waste. Falconfeather could try to remember all the details of the ones who really mattered better if she didn't have to deal with anyone else.

Tail raised and head held high, Dawnstar made her way home from the lastest gathering and once again immediately leap up onto the Shadowledge to call a meeting. She had some ceremonies to get done and some announcements to get out. Her mood wasn't particularly happy, but neither was she upset. Yet to say she was neutral would be difficult as well. She wasn't mad so that should be a bonus in itself.

"Let all old enough to lurk in the shadows join below the Shadowledge for a clan meeting." She might have to claw someone if they asked her about the deputy, she was still thinking about that. She'd have to pick someone out before the next Gathering, going to two gatherings without a deputy would be disgraceful, then again did she really care what others thought of her? Dawnstar had some cats in mind, but she still needs time to reason with her choices.

[Apprentices who participated in Intensive Training(and obtained Dawnstar's approval) and Border Battle can use those as an assessment]

The molly sighed as she walked over to the area, sitting down a little angirily. WindClan hadn't done anything, that she knew of at least, and now ShadowClan wanted to fight them. She had to do something about it. She just had to!

Goldenstep padded into the clearing just in time to hear Dawnstar's summons. She found a place along the outside, glancing around for Elmshadow's dark pelt. She shifted her paws, hopeful that he would find her though Batsong's warnings still plagued her mind. Her stomach, full of kits, had begun to push against the insides of her back legs when she sat, though she wasn't yet showing through her long golden pelt. She shifted uncomfortably and tried to focus on what Dawnstar had to say.
