Amberbloom stepped out of her den, groaning. “What is—“ The pale ginger warrior was cut short by a crowd of warriors. “Why—“ She spotted the body. Lotuspaw’s body. “She would have become a great warrior.” She mumbled, dipping her head in mourning.
RainySpirit lifted her head off the moss gingerly, she was exhausted, all of her strength had been put into having these kits.. RainySpirit curled her tail around the two little kits, one looked just like her and the other just like LeafNight. The molly raised her head to look up at her mate, she was beaming at the kits, and then she turned her ginger head to look at RainySpirit.
"You doing okay, dear?" RainySpirit nodded weakly, sure she really wanted to sleep but she had the urge to stay awake a little bit longer to make sure that the two fluff balls were safe. The kits?" she asked, her voice was more horse than she thought it would be and she almost scared herself. LeafNight smiled "They both look healthy, you should get some sleep, i'll make sure they feed and that they're safe." she laid down next to RainySpirit and guided the two kits toward RainySpirit's belly where they could feed.
RainySpirit paused and rested her head back down on the moss nest, she felt like she was missing something.. names-! she quickly lifted her head once more and turned to LeafNight "We forgot to name them-" LeafNight laughed slightly "You're right, Do you want to name them or should we both name them?""We'd both name them of course!- Um-" The two turned their heads to the kits RainySpirit look puzzled, she had absolutely no clue what to name either kit.. LeafNight saw this "How about I suggest some names and you choose them?" she asked her mate gently RainySpirit nodded, that was a good idea. "Mm, how about Sandkit or Swirlkit for the little yellow one, and.. Brindlekit or Moonkit for the tortie?" RainySpirit paused for a moment, going over the names in her head.
"Sandkit and Moonkit." she finally meowed, "I like those two the best" LeafNight nodded and curled up around the molly and the kits, her kits, "Get some rest, RainySpirit, our kits need you to be strong" RainySpirit began to feel more drowsy and fell alseep quickly.

as moonkit was born she began to squirm, she yawned as she moved around, her rubbed against rainyspirit feeling that she is her mother, her eyes began to open as she looked around* i wonder what i look like i wonder what mother and father look like do i look like them?* she wondered as her eyes opened fully* wow!!!* she thought smiling seeing what things look like
* rainyspirit? leafnight? are they my parents?* she wondered looking up at them curious, her eyes widened as she looked at them, she smiled at her parents with great happiness
Cinderstar "It did not seem that way when we took you and Ravenpaw in to heal you both." Having heard the commotion from outside, and already planning to come fetch Emberpaw, Cinderstar stepped into the den and cast a glance towards Crowpaw. "We train because of the threats we face in the forest, and to be ready should our Clan need to be defended. In order to remain within our walls, you too will need to train and contribute to your Clan."
The silver spotted leader cast a look towards Echosong - she had full faith in the warrior wrangling in the rather unruly apprentice. As much as they deserved to have a voice, she would be damned if another situation like Cinderpaw were to take place. They were welcome to speak up and voice their opinions, sure, but there was no reason for any disrespect to be thrown around.
Looking further into the den until she spotted a familiar pelt, Cinderstar padded towards the next and gently aimed to touch it to Emberpaw's flank. "Emberpaw, it's time for some battle training." Her voice was soft to stir the apprentice from her nest - whether she was actually sleeping or not, Cinderstar was unsure.

The golden cat observes her silver counterpart in the hopes of reading that mind of hers. It does not do much for her, but those deep blue eyes were enchanting all the same. "It is a disgrace to any warrior of any Clan," she comments. "Kestrelstar did not lead that Clan, nor that child, properly. Snakeheart learned that menacing others and lying would be okay so long as no one believed he had done wrong."
Cinderstar shuts her eyes, and the warrior continues to study her in the dark. She was glad that no harm had come to her mate that day- Could you imagine? Her gaze slips away from that pretty, round face down her throat, across her shoulders, and away over her back- All the way to the very tip of her tail. This cat belonged to Nectarflame now. It was her duty to devote her life wholly to her.
And yet as the silvery leader opened her eyes, looked her in the face, and asked for guidance, any righteous dedication inside of Nectarflame switches out for a far greedier, far more selfish desire to hoard this cat for the rest of their time. Funny, how quickly even a cat as devoted to ThunderClan as herself would turn for love.
"I..." Trailing off, the warrior considers what to say. Honestly her own thoughts were barely comprehensible on this matter. "Would want to speak privately to them, to him." She corrects herself in the last moment there. "Snakeheart has too many defensive barriers around him as it is. When he is cornered, he is different. When he is on his own, he is weaker." That sounded rude, but her tone did not suggest this was a malicious sort of idea. Flicking her tail, Nectarflame continues to muse.
"If some cat were to speak to him where he could not be reached by his Clanmates, perhaps we would learn something we did not know before. At the very least, so long as we post others in the shadows to observe this meeting, we will have the evidence to back our claims to the other Clans. RiverClan must be brought down a leg or two. It is time that they remember: they are cats just like the rest of us."
In truth, RiverClan of late was not as bothersome as they had been in the recent past. Skystar contributed a lot to their sudden hush, perhaps. Was it laziness, or something more sinister? And indeed, it seemed silly in a way to speak like this about RiverClan when for so long, ShadowClan had been the monsters in the dark. But they were fearsome because they harnessed their strength in ways no one else did. RiverClan, because they had none and still won battles.
Cinderstar
It was easy enough to agree with her mate. Though she had not known the former RiverClan leader all that well, his behavior at gatherings representing his Clan left a bitter taste in her mouth. The night he had stormed into camp and clawed his way up the Thunderwillow burned like fire in her mind - each death was sad and tragic, but honestly she thought RiverClan better off without the dark tomcat in power.
A conversation away from the masses... it was an interesting concept. The first thought Cinderstar had was almost automatic, in that by doing that they would surely be walking right into the (poisoned) claws of RiverClan. A conversation alone, with a medicine cat known to poison others in defense of his Clan. Cinderstar could see quite clearly that the young tom would do almost anything to defend RiverClan, and that at least was commendable. The ways, not so much.
"You seemed to be able to get through to him, if he fled the battle without carrying through his plan. Perhaps... that cat should be you." It was an obvious choice, and someone that Snakeheart might feel more ready to listen to. For any fault she had (Cinderstar liked to believe there were none) Nectarflame had a persuasive way about her, almost like songbirds calling out to kits.
There was still much to think over and consider when it came to this, and Cinderstar found that she did not wish to make any decision on it now. "I will think it over, because I do not wish for this to blow up anymore than it already has." A sigh left her. "Our feud with RiverClan has gone on long enough, and it is time that I wish to start to put the past in the past and focus on building ThunderClan up. We will speak with him about this, and then hopefully it can be placed back in the past."
Another soft chuckle in the dim lighting as Cinderstar stretched her neck out to give a swift lick on the cheek of her mate. "Whatever I decide, it will not be done as just a leader addressing Snakeheart but the Clan as a whole. They all deserve closure from such a traumatic time. Thank you for telling me."

A sigh left her as she was given no other reasoning, or really no reaction at all to what she had said. At that point she knew whatever other words came out would only fall on deaf ears. "I will honor your request to change your names. But do keep in mind what I have said." She really did hope they would take it to heart.

A chuff of amusement echoed through her chest as Cinderstar mentioned her healed injury. Stars only knew she would be avoiding anything like that happening again in the future. Her paws flexed slightly as she followed her leader into the den, the new space slightly unfamiliar but seeming to regain life again now that Cinderstar (and judging by the extra nest, Nectarflame as well) had official taken up residence here.
A small frown creased her muzzle at the mention of patrols and the state of their prey storage.
"I wholeheartedly agree; I was actually on my way to speak to you about a similar thing," she stated, resting back onto her haunches as Cinderstar sat in front of her. "While most patrols did get completed and report in a rather timely fashion, there were a rather large pawful of cats who didn't even show up when called. I made due with reassignments where I could, but one of the hunting patrols never went out and I worry that some of our warriors are falling back into old habits."
Sparrowflight certainly wasn't one to look at things with pessimism, but seeing so many of her peers seemingly drop back into apathetic habits after they had worked so hard was definitely disappointing.
"Our fresh-kill pile is certainly in a bit of a sorry state considering the season. I was fortunate enough to find some good prey today, and I think I'll double our hunting patrols in my next assignment. That should be enough to kickstart our stores and perhaps reinvigorate some of our peers."

Hearing the report of how the patrols had been going, Cinderstar couldn't stop the disappointment from crossing her face. Not in Sparrowflight, but in the fact that ThunderClan warriors were falling back into old habits. That certainly would not do, especially if they wished to become a Clan once more in the eyes of their neighbors.
She was glad to hear of the idea of doubling the hunting patrols. "Good idea. I agree that the extra patrols will hopefully help supplement any warriors that fail to do their duties. Perhaps, we can even look at sending out mentor and apprentice duos for the extra hunting patrols, so that our warriors can catch two mice with one claw." Catching prey for the Clan while also teaching their apprentice how to do the same, so that they were ready for when they became warriors.
With a nod of her head, she let silence fall after her last words, her eyes glazing over something of a more serious nature. "There was one more thing I wanted to talk to you about... And that was about a certain elder I'm sure you have noticed who is no longer in camp." A slight droop of her shoulders, but nothing too major, as she spoke of Ridgeclaw. Their former mentor, gone from camp without a trace. He was rather old, and though Cinderstar knew he could handle himself she couldn't help but be worried for his safety.
Cindy really WAS nice! A delighted trill emitted from the small kitten, and she hopped up and down with enthusiasm coursing through her veins. She was going to beat the leader of her Clan in moss ball! "It's called mossball. I'm going to throw it at you, and then you'll try to catch it. Then you're going to throw at me, and I'll catch it!" Hopefully Cindy would get the gist. It didn't register in her mind that this seemingly old cat was aware of mossballs existence, much less played it before. She lifted it up with a single gray paw and threw it at the leader. Her throw was a little wonky (flying quite fast over the other cat's head, it would prolly need to be chased should the other spotted cat not catch it), and she grimaced slightly, exaggerating her frustration with herself so Cindy knew that Ashenkit knew that she had messed up. "You know, " She mused, rubbing the group with a tiny child paw. "Our names are kind of the same. Because Ash is something that got burned and so is Cinders!"

It was a rather cute sight as Ashenkit explained the game to her. Fuzzy memories of playing it with her own siblings when they had all been kits stirred in her mind and garnered a purr from her. The days had been long and blissful, when all she had to worry about was who out of her siblings could bat the ball the farthest.
"That sounds like a wonderful game!" It held no harm in allowing the kit to believe that she had introduced the game to her - it had been many, many moons since she had last played too. As she readied herself, she let out a mrrow of surprise as the moss ball sailed overhead and tumbled close to the back of the den. With a smile Cinderstar turned and retrieved it with one paw, soon going back to her original spot.
At the comparison of their names, Cinderstar smiled. "You're right. Ashen- is a lovely name too, and I am certain that it will make for a beautiful warrior name in the future." She lightly tossed the moss ball back over to Ashenkit, making sure it wasn't too fast or too high for the youngster to reach up and grab it. "I was actually named after my mother's mother. Cinderbear - a warrior who lived quite some time ago in ThunderClan." A story she had been told as a young kit and into her apprenticeship. Fitting that her warrior name then came as an honor to her mother as well.

Looking away from where she had been fixing her nest, Cinderstar took note of the paw steps that approached and the tiny heads that poked into her den. A smile spread across her face as she saw Flamekit and Vinekit, and she padded away from her project to take a seat before them. A Clan that was thought to be a myth? "Of course. What would you like to know?" She had a feeling they were speaking of SkyClan, who had merged with RiverClan quite some time ago - definitely before their birth and most of those in ThunderClan, save for the elders and senior warriors.

Picking her way through the nests until her nose led her to the one that smelled of the she-kit she carried, Cinderstar gently set the sleeping Snowkit down into the moss. Concern bubbled in her chest for her, though she knew exhaustion when she spotted it. Some rest and peace away from the hustle and bustle of camp would be precisely what Snowkit needed. "Rest well, Snowkit," she murmured before turning and padding out of the nursery, but not before taking in the sight of Rainyspirit. She had just welcomed kits, hadn't she?
"Rainyspirit, if you could keep an eye on Snowkit. She hasn't been sleeping and it appears she tried to push herself just a little too far." A soft smile as the leader cast one look back towards the kit. "Once the event is over, I will be back to check on her." With a grateful dip of her head, the leader disappeared once more into the clearing.
