Irisflame met Dewpaw's mentor's gaze steadily- Lightbreeze, isn't that what she'd said? She had no idea how Lightbreeze could let her off so easily. She herself would be appalled at even Echopaw- fluffy, happy, Echopaw- if she laughed at a patient. Unless they deserved it, that was. Gaze sliding over to Dewpaw briefly, she shrugged, backing down a little bit. Perhaps she had been a bit rough.
"Hmph. If you're fine with it." She mewed, pushing her hostility to the side. It wasn't an excuse not to be efficient. Glancing at a mildly surprised Echopaw, she exchanged a soft smile with her apprentice. Was that an eye roll she saw, there? She hoped it was directed at these two bozos. At her question, Irisflame nodded, gesturing to the paw.
"It's more twisted than sprained. Might have been moved out of the socket in the slightest. But there's definitely some sprain at parts." She explained, voice fairly calm. Ah, right! And the new herb, "This is contrary root. We'll be using it today. I'll explain more about it when we get onto healing. In the meantime, why don't you guess what it does?" She offered, beckoning Lightbreeze over to a vacant nest. She could test there while they worked. She snorted at the two apprentices, Echopaw still a little sour. "You two seem to be getting along. Lightbreeze, settle down over here. Then we can get started."

Sleepylion seemed to be hesitant, a bit unsure at the choice of nickname. Had it hurt him in some way? Was it something she'd said? Sorry flickering over her gaze momentarily, she glanced to the ground. Perhaps she should apologize. Maybe it had been...something she'd said. Flexing her paws with uncertainty, her gaze perked up as the warrior have her permission to do so. Maybe she was wrong!
"Alright! You can call me Blueberry, if you want. Most people do." She explained, seeing a new sort of indecision in his eyes. That was decidedly why. She felt her curiousity to his condition face as he explained why, certainly not as exciting a reason as she'd imagined.
"I'll see if I can find anything. In the meantime, restvup! Take a few days off."

Yes. I will. Lightbreeze wobbled over to the best and laid down waiting.
