Honestly, Violetfreckle was practically dying for something to do other than catwatch and wander around ThunderClan territory, trying to familiarize herself with it. The urge to visit Cattail Pond was always strong, but she figured it was becaus ethat was the most familiar place she had. She wasn't even deeply connected with it or anything. It was just... nice and familiar. No no, she was getting off-topic. Another herb patrol for her! Violetfreckle must be reallyyyy good at herb collecting, as she'd been a part of the last round, too. Not that she was complaining.
Her tail rose high in the air as Violetfreckle approached the medicine cat, nodding along. Ragweed. "Uhhhh, yeah, I totally know what ragweed is. But uh, just in case Bumblebutt doesn't, what does it even look like?" Hey, Violetfreckle wasn't an herb cat, sue her. Speaking of Bumblestar, though, she was actually kind of looking forward to spending some time with the leader. For nefarious purposes, of course. Causing trouble. Inconveniencing the other feline. Y'know, stuff like that. Not for any other reason, she pointedly thought as she ignored the sudden pounding of her heart.

Her skin shuddered and prickled at the small touch. It was most likely because she was caught by surprise, she dismissed. The tabby let out a snort. "In a bit of a rush, are we?" she asked teasingly, prodding at Bumblestar's shoulder with a sheathed paw.

Amber eyes darted over to meet Drizzlecloud's as the large golden tom heard his name called for a herb patrol. Listening with rapt attention as his task was described, the tom offered a firm nod of acknowledgement before padding over to meet his patrolmates.
"Marigold and any other medicinal flowers you recognize; understood?" he stated, glancing over the two cats that stood ready and waiting for him. "Let's head out."

It seemed that the patrol that she had called, involving herself, hadn’t shown up quite yet. So, patiently, she sat with her tail curled over her front paws, eyes slowly dragging over the cats in the clearing.
Wildtwist padded to springpaw, herbs in his mouth. He dropped them in front of the medicine cat before speaking. “We found some herbs, and all of us parpicipated,” he reported, fluffing up his fur

Large paws thumped back into camp, and the large tom made a brief stop at the medicine den to drop off his finds before flicking his tail over to indicate his patrolmates should do the same. A slight grimace crept over his muzzle as he released his bundle and attempted to lick away the sour aftertaste of the mystery flowers he'd procured, but after a moment he quickly moved to report to the medicine cat.
"Marigold has been collected," he stated, forcing the sour grimace off his features as he spoke. "Myself and Fallowreed found some other flowers, not sure if they're of any use but if not then I suppose you can... decorate the den."
Lioncrest wasn't really interested in such things, but perhaps Springpaw might enjoy a more light-hearted task. Giving a final nod to Drizzlecloud, the golden warrior stepped away. His new goal was to acquire some water; that sour taste needed to go
Alderstep called out to the clan, summoning forth whatever poor souls he'd decided to send on patrol. "Rainfall, I want you to take Lightningpaw and Heronsnarl hunting in the territory."
"Eveningdance; you, Sparkleap, and Lotuspaw are hunting at Sunkissed Creek."
"Hazelflash, take Littlefreckle and Sprucepaw to Haggard Ruins."
"Sparrowpelt and Softsky; you're coming with me to the Cattail Pond."
Yay, done with those. He moved on to the border patrols.
"Sharpclaw, you and Spottedfire and Sparrowfur will be going to Herondive Hollow."
"Sleepywillow, take Feathernose and Wildpaw to the Thunderglade."
"Nightgaze, I want you to take Spiderthroat and Dreampaw with you to Smallpines."
Quite done with speaking, Alderstep shuffled his paws waiting for his two clanmates to accompany him.
