Yeesh, this guy was hard to convince! What was there to even like about windclan? Rabbits and meadows? "Only attacking them isn't fair though. They killed lots of cats that couldn't defend themselves! And vixenwhorl is just looking out for us by telling us." buzzardkit retorted, rolling her eyes. Vixenwhorl was just warning people about how dangerous and scary windclan is! Nothing wrong with that.

"What's there to even like about windclan?" certainly not the actual clan itself, maybe the territory or something,but not any of the cats. She was expecting him to say something defending windclan, if she was right; smokepaw would be put on her (totally real) 'annoy forever' list.

Buzzardkits eyes widened in shock when she heard the dawnstar comment. That-- he couldn't say that! Could he? Well, even if dawnstar was out of her mind (she was, buzzardkit just didn't want to realize it), smokepaw made a mistake saying it out loud like that! "At least she didn't kill elders and queens and kits." she muttered under her breath. Dawnstar didn't seem bad, or maybe she just hasn't seen her acting bad. Until she did, she'd believe dawnstar was great!

"Well.....then you should probably leave shadowclan if you don't agree with dawnstar! That's what any smart person would do if they didn't agree with their leader." the she-cat told. Yeah! Why would you stay in a clan if you didn't like your own leader?

Smokepaw narrowed his eyes at Buzzardkit. He usually liked kits but that feeling he had gotten from when Frogpaw was teasing Moonpaw was coming back. He looked at Buzzardkit straight in the eyes. "Are you sure about Dawnstar not killing kits? Did you know she killed a kit in Windclan? And she didn't even have a reason for it. She also fought at a Gathering. I know Windclan started it but Dawnstar wasn't fighting because she was protecting herself. She loves fighting. She only cares about herself, no one else. And about that. I'm not leaving Shadowclan. What a smart person would do is they would stay in the clan so they could observe Dawnstar." Smokepaw mewed in a cold voice.

@Snook Sorry I took a while

Silentpaw purred roughly. Hunting with Quailpaw sounded great! Maybe she could show him all she learned, which wasn't much. But she had done okay during Finchwhisker's hunting event, so maybe she wouldn't make such an embarrassment of herself. "Would like that lots!" Kicking Frogpaw's tail sounded like a good way to spend an afternoon.

When Quailpaw asked his next question, Silenpaw answered, "About half moon." Was he asking about the battle at the last gathering? She hadn't been an apprentice then. "Wasn't at the gathering. Not old enough then." She was sort of glad she wasn't there. It sounded scary! Battling sounded scary as a whole. Silentpaw would be perfectly happy to stick to hunting, but she knew she had to be in a battle sometime.

The warrior glanced around, and grabbed a piece of prey from the fresh-kill pile. She sat down, nibbling at it. It would be nice to hunt today; maybe someone could go with her. She looked around for someone to hunt with.

"Uh, no, she wouldn't actually. Dawnstar wouldn't kill a kit. If she only cared about herseld and loved fighting, she'd probably kill us all! But she hasn't. So your point is proven wrong, idiot!" she said in a matter of fact tone. Was that even how it worked? Did that make sense? She wasn't sure, but as long as she denied what he was saying, she'd win the argument! Hah! She was so smart, she should get some type of special treatment. "Observe? I dont know....that sure does sound something like an inside spy would say." buzzardkit hummed.

She was right! Wasn't she? An inside spy for another clan would observe their leader (that they don't agree with) just to get information and stuff! And that's exactly what it sounded like smokepaw was doing. "Observe her for what? To know her weaknesses and stuff?" she prodded, furrowing her brows at the cold stone smokepaw was using. Idiot. If that was his weak attempt at trying to seem scary or something, it wasn't going to work.

What was it with cats with names that start with smoke? They all seemed like junk.

"And it's windclans fault if she attacked them at a gathering! They did it first. It's called becoming equal." buzzardkit said the last part sharply, glaring at the apprentice. She didn't like him. At all. He liked windclan and didn't like dawnstar and was staying in shadowclan just to observe her? So suspicious, to her at least. Suddenly she got an evil looking smile on her face, snickering to herself. She silenced herself. "It'd be a shame if I told dawnstar you don't like her but are staying here just to observe her. She'd probably think you're a......threat." she threatened.

Of course, she wouldn't tell dawnstar-- oh stars no, she was a bit afraid of the leaders power (still admired her though). She just wanted to try and scare smokepaw off.

The dark grey tom trotted into camp with a vole in his jaws. He had stopped to hunt on his way back from a small walk. He deposited his vole in the fresh-kill pile, choosing a small mouse to eat. He padded towards a small spot in the sun and sat, eating his prey.

Skyleap watched Stormshadow as he came back from hunting. She bounded over, being very kitlike. "Hi!"

Cloudheart watched his sister bounce over to Stormshadow and greet him. Cloudheart hoped that Stormshadow would talk to her. Skyleap loved talking to everyone. Literally. Cloudheart's mind wandered off to Hailpounce, again. What is wrong with me? All I can think about lately is Hailpounce. I even praised her. Horror ran through him as the memory returned. He had praised her. He had told her what a great catch it was. The only cat he had ever said that to was Skyleap. Suddenly, it felt like he could tell Hailpounce anything. How he had felt about his warrior name when he had got it- and he hadn't even told Skyleap that. He wondered where she was now. He wondered if she was also thinking about him. Of course not! Why would she be thinking about me? I shouldn't even be thinking about her. But, try as he might, he couldn't think about anything else. He longed to hunt with her again, but Cloudheart was sure that wouldn't happen.

Smokepaw stared at Buzzardkit with surprise. How could the kit think that Smokepaw was a spy? "I'm not a spy! Do you look how scrawny and small I am? Nobody likes me anyway." Smokepaw mewed.

Smokepaw's eyes widened in fear as Buzzardkit threatened to tell on him. "Please, don't tell her. I don't want to get kicked out of Shadowclan." Smokepaw mewed pleadingly.
