Ok, so WHY weren't the dingdongs he had told to come with him coming? Raising his voice, Pearleye yowled Blackshade, Sootfluff come ON! We're going, or do you want to go do it by yourselves, hmm? Really, this was quite annoying with all of the shirking that was going on, ugh. He would have to think of some way to get everyone moving. @Christmassy Bumblebee @Cobra

"I'm up!" Blackshade replied, heading over there immediately. "Sorry, just took a nap."

Sword paw pranced into the clearing, tail and head held high. He cheekily grinned at a couple she cats. He headed towards the prey pile and grabbed a fat sparrow but didn’t)t eat it. Instead he pranced over to the nursery careful not to look at his mother. “Hey there kiddo’s how are ya’ll?” He asked cheerfully.

Amethystbreeze felt a sharp Lang in her heart as her son made sure to avoid her. She knew it was for the best but it hurt. So bad. After a moment she wrenched her head away now instead of looking at her son, Swordpaw, she looked down at her paws. Leaves littered the ground and she glared at them.

Alright, let's go now. Pearleye grunted, deciding that him and Blackshade was better than no patrol anyway. Hopefully they could catch something. It shouldn't be that hard, since their territory was practically perfect in every way. At least he thought so, for them. Lots of prey to hunt and everything. As he exited the camp, he spotted a mouse nibbling on the berries of a bush, and he slid forward, pouncing on the fat prey with ease before burying it in leaves for later collection. Hopefully Blackshade would have as much success finding prey as he had. @Christmassy Bumblebee

Blackshade had a jackrabbit, and a small bunny. He aimed for a hiding bird and got stuck in brambles. "Pearleye! I'm stuck."

With a sigh as his patrolmate screamed that he was stuck, Pearleye bounded over, quickly yanking some brambles from Blackshade's fur in an attempt to free the warrior. Hopefully this would be a fairly easy thing to get out of, since he could scent some prey nearby, and hear it as well, knawing on something. @Christmassy Bumblebee

"I'm still stuck!" Blackshade tried to escape the brambles, but his fur was well stuck. His whole body was in the brambles, with only his head poking out. The bramble pulled at his fur, and he yowled in pain. "It hurts a lot more than you think!"

With a grunt of aggravation at this cat's skill at getting smashed into bushes, Pearleye yanked harder, eventually giving up on untangling and seizing Blackshade's scruff and yanking, not really caring how much fur was yanked off, just wanting to get the cat out. He wouldn't be his pretty best for a while, but it wasn't as if Pearleye was the one who cared the most about that. His eyes had almost gotten him chucked off the cliff, but Skittlestar had saved him. Who he really should talk to soon, he hadn't seen him about recently. Returning his attention to the problem at hand, he pulled harder on Blackshade's scruff. @Christmassy Bumblebee

"Pearleye! That hurts a lot! Just get more cats, I can stay here." Blackshade asked. His scruff hurt a lot from Pearleye, and he wanted to get out of the brambles without pain. He tried to bite himself out, but it only made it worse.

With a huff of even more aggravation Pearleye bounded off, finding his Diamondheart and Chivefeather promptly. Heading back to camp, he waved his tail at the doingnothing Swordpaw before bounding back, calling to the cats he had gathered Blackshade managed to get himself stuck in a bramble bush and we can't get him out. Stopping in front of his clanmate he dug his teeth into the bramble bushes, yanking and yanking and yanking little sticks of brambles off of the tom's pelt. @Wolfgirl8 @Ikoria the Wolf Pup @Christmassy Bumblebee

Following her "mate" with a snort of derision that she had been called away from her hunting to help a bumbling Blackshade, Diamondheart had a bit more sympathy when she saw how much of his fur was mussed up and torn out. It must be HORRIBLE to lose so much beauty! She couldn't imagine it herself. She'd probably hide in her den until it had grown back if it was her. Taking ahold of a few strands she began tugging, trying to untangle them carefully enough to not rip out TO much fur.

“Ugh. Brambles. Nasty plants,” Chivefeather said. She padded over and unsheathed her claws. Instead of removing the brambles individually from Blackshade’s pelt, she assumed that would take too long so she started cutting the brambles surrounding him. They would still be on his pelt when he was free, but it’ll be easier to remove them when he wasn’t surrounded by painful thorn plants.
