Duskpaw's nerves calmed down at a bit when Irisflame chuckled at her story and her smile seemed so warm and inviting. "My name is Duskpaw!" Grinning and hobbling after Irisflame as she was invited to be fixed up. Does she not remember me? Scarred muzzle after protecting my mentor? Shrugging the small calico did not mind too much that the medicine cat forgot her. Sitting down and holding out her paw the apprentice laughed at the older molly's teasing. "Yup yup. I am never going to slap a tree again!" Lesson definitely learned. Looking up Duskpaw was confused, "Do you want me or Echopaw to pull out the splinters?" Head tilted and emerald eyes trained on Irisflame.

Russetpatch padded towards the meeting and sat down, waiting for it to start.

Sagewhisker swiftly padded over, searching for Blackswift. "Blackswift!" she quietly called, "where are you?" she asked, continuing to search. Honestly why was he so hard to find all the time?

Stagpaw trotted over to the highbranch, their ears perked. 'I wonder what's happening this time' they thought.

Moonkit walked up slowly, taking her time so that she wouldn’t have to sit in one place for too long and could keep her paws moving without looking weird.

I see.. Doepaw couldn't help but let out another thrill of laughter at that comment and once again had to make fun of it. It was a nice thing to be able to and it did help her increase her ever growing confidence, "Yes... you did.. see. I... did not." It was a simple thing because she did describe it, did use her paws for visual queues and movements to show how she hunted. Just because she was blind didn't mean she was incapable of registering visuals, flicks of tails could still be heard by the disturbance it caused in the wind and the sound it made, and she could follow paw steps better than anyone else. Preserving these skills was key to how she got around and how she functioned. "I don't... mind.. you using... seeing words.. I just... find it... funny. I use... see... too... As I do not... hear... with my... ears... I 'see'. Its.. sound that... registers... but that makes.. me able.. to see... I don't... say.. I hear... my surroundings. I 'see'.. them." It was a simple word play but it was something that to Doepaw herself seemed easier. She might not be able to do the physical act of seeing but it didn't mean there was other ways to see the world in either. The world was wide and large... and you could see and adapt in many ways. Such as with your ears, your sense of feeling or your nose. It was dependent on how you adapted, how resilient you were... and as everything it takes time. It took time for her to learn the patterns, to be able to distinguish the patterns from each other and be able to know which pattern was multiple creatures of the same and what patterns was a whole nother creature. Yet when Frostpaw asked her if she learned it all herself, she was drawn out of her thoughts, and shuffling back so she was once again leaning against him - at this point more because it had become comfortable and comforting - and closed her eyes despite the fact that it wouldn't exactly help nor bother her. She preferred to keep her eyes open... mainly for the sake of others so they wouldn't think she was faking it or sleeping for that sake. "I had to... adapt sighted... hunting styles... to my own. Flintspirit... mainly helped... me with my... battle training... and patrolling. Hunting... was a lot more with... others." She'd been taken out a few times by other warriors when her mentor had been too busy with clan duties to set aside the time to take her out to practice the basic skill of hunting. Didn't help he had been useless when it came to climbing either. "It was... a lot of... trial and error. I had to... know how to... balance myself.. before balancing...myself for the prey.. and the environment." She once again she hoped she wasn't using too complex words to describe it. It was how she saw, it was how she worked and well... sometimes it was harder for sighties to understand than normal. A demonstration to her was what would possibly work best... but she had yet to meet any other warriors than the two who escorted her into camp and then Beastspark of course. "It just... takes time. Like everything. Usually things... are voiced out loud." That had been how her training with Flintspirit had gone, as battle moves were often the hardest to hear, and to visualise without actual queues. "Hunting though... it's the easiest. You can usually... learn it on your... own with... practice." Yet an idea sparked in her head and slowly she freed her paw again. "I will... tap a pattern. It's... typical prey animal... we often hunt." Mouse, Starling... Squirrel. She was going to tap squirrel. This would to her test her friend to see if he was actually capable of noticing the small things. Tapping her paws quickly, and then stopping and then quickly again she stopped with a satisfied smirk. It was a simple pattern, the squirrel walk. It was 'walk,' 'pause', 'walk.' Simple. Yet she knew it was probably going to be a challenge for the other apprentice who had not fine tuned his ears nor even considered patterns as a way to recognise prey. "You got... an idea?"

"Hm? Oh, a meeting." BlackSwift got up and padded over to sit next to SageWhisker. @Mumble

Frostpaw stalked out of the apprentices' den and flicked an ear towards the crowd. If one searched very closely, they would see a faint smirk on tom's maw and while his sapphire eyes hid interest in their dark abyss. He knew one thing that would be happening this meeting, although there was sure to be other things, too.

Meanwhile, a black tabby took his place in the crowd, curious as to what would be happening this time. Fallenheart gazed up at the Highbranch and watched his leader as more cats filtered into the clearing.

A meeting? Nightpaw peeked her head out of the apprentice den. For once she really was not feeling the energy to even go over there, yet she still felt the need to. Her tail hung low as she finally got herself to pad over and sat down near the back of the crowd. Hopefully this would go smoothly.. And she wouldn't have to interact with anyone; Although that likely wouldn't be a problem. It wasn't that she didn't like others, it was simply that for once, she was actually tired.

Doepaw heard a familiar pattern of pawsteps amidst the patter of her new clanmates. It was still strange and slightly nerve wracking for her to be surrounded by so many cats and the scents... She may have had some days.. was it two or three by now? in Shadowclan, but it didn't exactly mean she was completely comfortable yet. So hearing the pawsteps of her... well friend? That was what Frostpaw was to her right? she flicked her ears in a small welcome, deciding to remain quiet but making sure he knew that well... if he wanted he could come over. She wouldn't be opposed to the comfort his presence seemed to bring her and well... it was nice to be sat by a friend rather than sitting next to strangers all around.
