Twilightstar stared at the kit as if he just grew a second head, why in the world would she place him as her medicine cat?
"No, I appreciate the thought, but I don't think that would be the wisest idea. If Coyotesnarl had any interest in training you, he would have spoken to me about it before. I would trust one of the older cats before taking a kit fresh out of the nursery with shouldering the responsibility of healing the entire clan. If Coyotesnarl recommended you, I'd think about it, but for now, the answer will remain no." She explained sternly. It was a nice thought, but not one she was going to taking into consideration anytime soon. "As of now, you should focus on training to serve the clan as a future warrior."

"You're correct, we do have many orphaned kits, who can find their way on their own." Twilightstar understood needing a parental figure to guide them, but she didn't see the point of keeping one cat in the nursery all the time for that. Besides, she saw Songbird as the clan's resident queen with the numerous numbers of kits she took into her family every moon, plus she had a mate and father figure, Whitesong, to aid her. Twilightstar didn't need two queens constantly stuck in the nursery.
"Unless you suddenly adopt a large number of kits that require you to remain in the nursery at all times, or obtain an injury that requires you to resign from your warrior duties, I'm not placing you in the nursery."

The former Medicine Cat seemed surprised and conflicted by the change in rank and it wasn't until he took his spot by the Breezerock that she wondered, without an apprentice, who would take his previous spot and would he still continue those duties in the meantime? He'd likely end up training the new Medicine Cat as well.
This was a lot of stress to just dump onto one cat.
"Coyotesnarl!" They called his name nonetheless, holding back a sneer as some of the other cats refused to cheer out of spite.
They noticed Honeypaw and shuffled up to him. "Since Coyotesnarl is deputy- as the cat with the most experience- would that mean you would take his place?"
Though is was a jest, it was meant lightheartedly. Honeypaw was probably one of the few cats who ever took the time to help him with any actual healing. Unless they were just oblivious to it and a lot of other cats had attempted to help him.
They doubted it, though.

The tabby was dumbfounded. He didn’t even know that was a thing! His fur fluffed up with excitement. A bright grin bloomed on his features as he turned to look at the scarred tabby. When he saw Coyotesnarl his smile faltered a little and instead a concerned expression awkwardly plastered itself on his face. How was the older feline feeling? All these chants of praise and yet he held such a sour expression. His ears flattened and he shuffled his paws, he wanted to chant aloud with his clanmates but, he felt as though the former medicine cat didn’t really...like it.
Honeypaw jumped as Shockpaw somehow fazed into existence next to him. He kept a blank stare at the other apprentice for a few seconds before giving the feline a smile. “It feels weird seeing someone else in Brindlejaws place but...” He trailed off, looking over to where Twilightstar was, giving a quick smile. He wasn’t against it, in fact he was absolutely elated, excitement tickled his bones. But having something be different... when he had become so used to it, it made him feel funny. He shook his head and turned his droopy gaze back to his companion.
Letting out a wheezed gurgle the tan feline began to vigorously shuffle his paws into the dirt and grass. “I don’t think they want a non clan cat doing such important stuff. I don’t think I’d be good at that anyways.” He laughed, fur fluffed up in embarrassment. “Many many many better qualified than me. Besides this is an important position to Windclan for things other than healing right? Something about your Starclan?” His statement ended in a question as he tilted his head to the side. He wasn’t really sure who his clan praised, since he himself didn’t look to any higher being for help nor guidance.

With half-closed eyes, the green beauties that twinkled against her dark red-orange fur, she surveyed the average WindClan clearing. Ah, yes, this was perfect. Shifting her head a little on her front paws, she gave a drowsy yawn. The comfort made her tired, almost as if she wanted to take a nap. However, something inside of her told her that she would need to stay awake. Surely something interesting would happen that she wouldn’t want to miss. Still... it was the perfect day.

"Hey! Yeah you." Oakkit called from the nursery entrance, a rolled up ball of moss in his paw. The kit then swatted the ball of moss at the apprentice. "Catch!"

Shockpaw's nose scrunched in a humourless smile. "Not a clan cat, huh? Didn't realize Honeypaw was a name given to non clanners." They gently tapped him on the nose with their tail tip.
"I suppose I see your meaning, though. Not about the better qualified cats. I guess it would be hard to believe in something you don't..... well, believe in. And that's, like.... a big part of it." Their forced smile became a frown.
Starclan.... did they themself believe in Starclan? At the end of the day, they suppose they did. But not.... actively? Not like Brindlejaw, certainly.

Snailpaw chanted the new deputies name. "Coyotesnarl! Coyotesnarl!" Although the molly was a bit weirded out by the fact Brindlejaw wasn't deputy anymore, she knew she would have to get used to it, and she bet she would.

Re: WindClan Training Moor
-- @ RedHead --
So Pumapaw was late. Like she had never been late in herself... she was always late. Cause short legs didn't exactly make for good companions to running fast. Neither did running with a flower grasped in her jaws. She was going to attempt to be... nice. And she assumed that starting it off with a small gift to her mentor might make him less willing to piss her off. It was not her who pissed him off, no way no way, but rather him who pissed her off with the intent on making her mad. So flower clasped in her jaws she finally made her way over to the training moor where she could see Quicksilver's, well silver, fur. Shaking out her own cream coloured fur she placed the flower at his paws. "I'm late okay. I won't apologize because I went out to get you a flower - as in, actually teach me something today and don't get me up and raging." Cause it totally wasn't her short temper that usually got the better of her, totally not. "So we learning battle moves today yes? Let's get going." She was going to rock this... she was sure to do well. Because she would be such a failure if she couldn't hunt well and then not fight properly either... so she had to do well. Because she was no failure, that was just unacceptable in Pumapaw's eyes.

Re: WindClan Breezerock
"New deputy Coyotesnarl," pondered Mothquiver, gaze reflecting the vast skies as he turned his attention to the heavens as if to ask what sort of shenanigan this was. Impractical, not so strategic, but hell if he wasn't into it. Sucking a breath inward, he hushedly whispered his revelation, "A plot twist." BRILLIANT. From the looks of his clanmates, nobody had seen it coming either. It'd come down like a flying plastic monster from the stars to smack them upside the head and leave their breath stolen as they suffocated for an escape from its crinkly embrace.
Refreshingly intrigued, Mothquiver leaned forward, closer to the Breezerock. He was moonstruck. And it was glorious. The underdog, no less. Sharply steering his life in a new direction. "But.. more spice," he mumbled half-coherently to himself, lost to his thoughts. It would need something to spruce it up here and there, a romance perhaps.

Re: WindClan Clearing
@ Blitz
Rosepaw heard the call of an excited kit directed at her. Lazily, she began to turn before suddenly, a ball of moss slapped her in the face. It didn’t hurt, but it was most definitely annoying.
Hissing angrily, Rosepaw felt like she had been thrown out of the mood. She gave it a toss back at the kit, a rather good one, before sighing.
“I was resting; couldn’t you see that?” she asked in a sweet yet annoyed voice. “It’s a perfect day out in the sunshine. Surely there are other kits or cats that you could play with?” Rosepaw then shifted on her paws so that she faced the kit more directly.

"Sorry." Oakkit meowed quietly as he caught the moss ball. "I don't know much of the kits in the nursery nor do I have any littermates." The kit sighed.
[I notice you are mentioning me rather quoting. Would u prefer if I mentioned you aswell instead?]
