Once it seemed safe the kit slowed down in order for Stonepaw to catch up, the fluffy feather in her mouth. It was tickling the kit's nose and Wolfkit couldn't help but scrunch up her face in discomfort before dropping the feather with a sneeze. She rubbed her nose to soothe the irritation before turning her attention back to Stonepaw.

"That was close...we could've almost been crowfood," Wolfkit pawed at the feather in front of her as she spoke. She then smiled, "but we did it! We got our first treasure!"

Oh her Mom was going to be so proud of her when she tells her all about their heist to attain said feather. But they couldn't just stop now no...they needed to find even more treasure! The kit took another glance around the clearing before turning back to the older she-cat, "Where to next? Apprentices have to know a ton hiding places don't they?"

It was a cold day, at least colder than it had been. Snapjaw lay curled tightly in her nest, sleeping peacefully for the first time in a bit. Things seemed to be going her way right now, she'd managed to make a new friend, had been assigned an apprentice, and had even been assigned to lead her own patrol. The large warrior knew she should get up but the warmth of her nest was so tempting. Her duties called though, and she slowly pushed herself to her paws before stretching, a yawn escaping her maw.

She blinked the sleep from her eyes before exiting the den, squinting against the harsh morning light. Once her vision adjusted she padded toward the fresh-kill pile, grabbing a small trout off the pile. Snapjaw found a spot in camp to settle in and began eating the fish.

The large silver straightened up to her full height, narrowed hazel eyes glaring down at Sunstrike as his fur brushed against hers. She bristled a bit, who was this cat? She'd seen him around camp but they'd never interacted before now, why was he acting so familiar with her?

She shifted away before speaking "Is there something you need?" Her tone was calm, though a hint of annoyance flashed in her gaze as she looked the warrior up and down "Sunstrike, correct?" She asked plainly.

uuhhh alright then. She thought, her eyes narrowing further at his response, that did not make anything better. Snapjaw used a paw to pull her fish closer to her before she chose to respond "Okay?" She said, visibly uncomfortable. She took a bite of her fish before chewing and swallowing. Her tail began to lash behind her.

She took a deep breath, hoping small talk would remedy the awkwardness between the two. She cleared her throat before speaking "Prey's been getting pretty scarce lately, eh? I noticed that last time I was out hunting. Hopefully, we'll have enough for leaf-bare" She said casually, her narrowed gaze flicking towards the fresh-kill pile before returning to Sunstrike.

"yeah me too,I hope we get at least a good amount of prey when leaf-bare comes"he said shuddering at the thought of not having enough prey for leaf-bare but he didn't let it show in his gaze

Snapjaw took another few bites, though had ultimately lost her appetite "Would you perhaps like to go hunting? I'm sure the river is still able to to fished in-" She said, the last part was mostly just an out loud thought.

She disposed of her prey's remains then returned with a nod "Unless you'd prefer land hunting?" She asked, lifting a brow as she looked on at her clanmate.

Urggghhhh what to do. No lazzing around camp. Stormstar had been pretty clear about that. But what was he to do! It's not like he could leave the camp and explore the territory. Well, he hadn't been told no, but he figured it'd be a no go. Hmm. Heroneye had taught him about cleaning that one time, maybe that's what he ought to do? But still, he idn't really know how to get started. What's a paw to do??

"Uhm... Hello, Seapaw..." She murmured at the other apprentice as she crossed paths with him. She was walking on the frozen ground without much to do, but maybe she could start spend more time with others instead of mumbling all the time with herself.

She lowered suddenly her gaze as she noticed something really interesting on the ground: a wet pebble that had left a rivulet of water from the small river in camp. "Would... you like to search for nice pebbles?"

Her nest was actually surrounded by them already, but she loved them too much. And when she found a shell, it was a super win.

(I can't remember what I'd written, sorry if it's a repetition ahah)
