Redkit

Welcoming her mama's hug joyously, the kit let out a giggle, tri colored eyes closing slowly as she cuddled up against her mom. But then, she caught the sight of Rosekit toddling over and the little bobtail starting hopping up and down in happiness.

"Sibby!!" Redkit howled in delight as her sibling made their appearance, jumping up and down and then diving forward to tackle her sibby into a hug. "I missed Rosey!" She crowed, finally releasing them after lots of rather excessive hugging.

Of course, who could forget her Uncle Crackles? Especially when he came in all red and screaming. Like a cyclone of uncle, and then she ran at him like a whirlwind of redkit. "Uncle Cwackles, you look COOL!" Flinging herself at him, she clambered on top of Cracklepaw if he didn't buck her off, and would try to balance her tiny body on his shoulders and place her tiny, red front paws on his head.

"Bathtime Uncle Cwackles!" She cheered, looking down at the world from so high up. Wowza! She was gonna stay up here forever!

Even when one of her clanmates approached and settled nearby, her stance was unwavering. She wasn’t one to speak unless spoken to-unless the cat in question was an apprentice or a kitten–and not a lot of cats spoke to her anyway, so she assumed that nothing would come of this tom’s company.

Alas, she stood corrected.

Her left ear twitched at his ask, eyes darting over to peer at the owner of the voice. Clanmates, yes, but.. They hadn’t spoken very much, if at all up until now. She could say the same about a lot of her clanmates, honestly, so it was nothing against him.

“Deeply troubled.” She corrected him, her voice gentle but laced with undertones of dejection. Taking a look at the tom, she realized that he had no wounds–she assumed that he had stayed behind from the battle, instead choosing to protect the camp. “I suppose you did not attend the battle at Sunkissed Creek?”

DarkGaze tilted his head and looked back at the scars he had since birth and back at the medicine cat. Her words though holding truth stung.
"Do YoU ThiNk Me BeInG theRe WouLd HaVe HelPed aNyWAy..." Asked with his cracked voice from the birth defect. Though it's true his physical capabilities were not hindered whatsoever from the birth defect. It still left large and uncomfortable scars along his left side. Made it hard to make a quick dodge and that would mean taking more hits than attacking.

He looked at the medicine cat and quickly looked away when eye contact was made. The scars on his face made it difficult to talk to others let alone be around others a whole lot. He was always self-conscious of his scars and that he doesn't look how he should look for a cat with the little combat experience he had. "I'm SuRe ThiNgs WoULd oF HaD tuRned oUt thE Same With or WIthoUt mE preSent..." He said in a shaken, cracking, sorrowful tone.

Sparrowpelt sat quietly, a small smile playing on his lips as all the kittens called made their way to the front of the crowd. This would be a big ceremony. He was excited to see more apprentices around. However, it felt like the army was out numbering the warriors at this point. . .

Treepaw's shoulders relaxed upon seeing Alderstep. He was okay. She purposefully made sure she had a seat next to him. Alderstep's presence was comforting in a way and the apprentice felt like she needed it at this moment. The anxiety in her was bubbling. His wounds didn't look too serious, thankfully, but Treepaw still worried. She didn't talk as Bumblestar continued on with the meeting. Instead, she listened intently.

Sharpclaw arrived late to the meeting. He noticed the absolute swarm of kittens padding up to the Stormcrest. By stars, that was gonna be a lot of apprentices in need of training, and so young too by the looks of it. Oh well, with the recent battle for Sunkissed Creek it was more of a blessing to have so many future warriors in their midst. He shook his shaggy fur before settling down to listen to the rest of the meeting.

Turned out the chocolate brown ball of fuzz did not have to sneak in the shadows to find out what had happened. Why there was such a heavy scent of blood in the air and so many injured cats. Angry was explaining it right away... or at least congratulating the ones that had left with her. Apparently there was a fourth clan. ShadowClan. He'd heard of RiverClan - on multiple occasions, now that he thought about it - and WindClan, but never this other clan. Maybe they weren't as big as troublemakers as the other two? That made little sense, even to the three moon old kit. They had just attacked for... something.

As Angry continued speaking, his question was answered yet again. They wanted a place. Sunkissed Creek? Sounded pleasant enough, he guessed. There was also a threat to simply shred any of these ShadowClanners on sight.

Despite his lack of change in expression, Fudge couldn't help but gulp. He'd been on the other side of those borders before, and he had simply assumed once he'd crossed that these cats were welcoming and liked living in a big, happy family type place. Turns out, he had simply been lucky. These cats were just like the ones from the city. Willing to shred anyone they didn't deem as belonging.

Pulled out of his musings, Fudge's ears perked up - albeit some seconds after the fact - as his name was called. Or rather, as his clan name was called. Had he done something? Was he being used as an example now on what to do to cats who didn't belong? Crud... he hadn't been paying attention. Maybe he should have.

Before he could start plotting an - unsuccessful - escape, the former kittypet noticed his... acquaintance - ? - Lamb among some kits that had been gathered at the bottom of the Stormcrest. Tilting his head in confusion for a moment, he blinked twice before it clicked. Right. That time they had helped find the... erm... RiverClan stranger. The one that had totally existed. These were all the kits that had been there that day. They were becoming apprentices.

Reluctantly, Fudge got up, padding over to the group. Well... around the group. He was a few healthy mouse-tail length's away, but he was standing by the Stormcrest. That's what counted, right? Sitting down, the long furred kit wrapped his tail around himself, deadpanned emerald eyes staring up at the leader. Angry seemed less angry than usual, in any case. Maybe having yet another name change wouldn't be as terrible as he'd thought. Maybe. Unlikely, but a kit could dream.

Sharpclaw was content to just nod and ignore the white feline before remembering he was blind. As much as he didn't care if he came across rude to his clanmates he'd never hear the end of it if he ignored a blind one. Stupid morals...

"I'd say," he replied, a barely audible snort tracing his words. If he were speaking to any other warrior they may not have noticed, but being Losthaven had to put extra good use in their ears he surely might have.

Bumblestar's gaze drifted over to Flightpaw as her apprentice stood and left the meeting, and her eyes narrowed. She wasn't sure what in the world that was about, but there was obvious sass there. Yeah, no, that wasn't going to fly. They'd be having words later.

She turned her attention to the kits who approached. Eleven out of twelve, not bad. Mosskit was the only one who hadn't shown up. The kit's loss, honestly. Bumblestar wasn't about to wait around for no-shows.

Cherrykit, Wildkit, Lightningkit, Leafkit, Fawnkit, Lambkit, Lotuskit, Fireflykit, Sorrelkit, Wolfkit, Sprucekit.
