Dandelionmane padded out of the warriors den, this should be Nettle's ceremony if they were correct. Their pale orange gaze scanned the camp and gathered cats for any one they knew.

Beechpaw bounced over, she was so ready to FINALLY be a warrior. Her ear flicked, the final piece of the tattered butterfly wing falling to the ground. The apprentice frowned, looking back toward Bumblestar.

No matter how quiet it is; no matter where you’re from; no matter what you’re doing; you are never safe from the duck that is Quackpaw. The quacker terrorizes without mercy!!!!!!! In her dreams, that is. But Quacky jumped out of that dream as soon as she heard Bumbly. Bumbly Bumbly Bumbly it felt like they hadn’t had a meeting in AGES! As the quacker tried to regain her balance after having jumped out of a little impromptu crash-out nap, her ears perked up. Hehehehehehehe that MUDDY she heard!!!! MUDDY! Well she had been wondering why the big hornet had bern a little quiet lately! “Muddy-buddy Muddy-buddy Muddy-buddy!!” the missile launcher may not be launching missiles, but she did launch herself at Muddy’s direction; y’know, maybe that was the moral of the story; maybe she was the missile afterall and she was just launching herself at her targets.

“Yea! C’mooon, I wanna be there to hear it!” sure, she’s just gonna pretend like she knew what the ‘thingy’ was! Cause she’s smart and she definitely remembers whatever that is. Whatever, a new day is a new chance to talk to her Muddy-buddy. And when that thingy gets announce, she’s just gonna act like she knew what it is and act cool and chill about it minor foreshadowing. Uh uh u hu h what usually happens at meetings again?? Uhhh…something Muddy told Bumbly about. So some kinda…some kinda…some kinda plan! Yea, some plan! That involves QUACKPAW! Her! It involves her! And..Muddy too! Yea..yea!! Yea? Yea! Quacky just woke up a few seconds ago, so she’ll remember what it is when she’s more awake! Scratch that, she’s actually wide awake and her head’s never fully operating ever anyway

“A few days ago, I talked to Sprucey! Sprucejumperjumpingspruce! Sprucey reminds me of you, but like..grumpy and quiet you!” Remind her to annoy that cat again; she wants to get as much words from him as she could. C’mon, let her be stubborn!! Hmp…he’s not even here yet!

ooOOOOPPP! Apprentice to the face!



Despite the speed and force it wasnt quite enough to knock Mudhound off of their paws with the size difference, the impact was enough to send the tripod stumbling back a bit, paws reaching out to grab the little happy thing before her own enthusiasm sent her sprawling. "Hehehehe slow down Quackers! Dont you know its like birds, you hit a cat too hard and they go POOF in a cloud of fur and thats why cats go missing! I dont wanna poof! Or for you to poof on me!" Completely untrue but it was a fun idea that sent the hornet giggling as they plopped their soon to be apprentice back on her paws to go find a better seat.


Somewhere not at the back, though luckily Quackpaw had the Mudhound-crowd-parter-9000 and using the hornets large frame and bulk it was easy to wade through the gathering clan, clearing a wake for the smaller cat behind them, and find the perfect spot.


Sitting next to Quackpaw once again the tripod chuckled, chirping "Well I super hope Sprucy reminds you of me! I trained him! And hes not grumpy (most of the time) he just..... doesnt word a lot. His eyes talk more so look for that and like ear twitches over expressions. He's very honest though, and nice and helpful and skilled, actually where is Sprucy- SPRUCY! COME SIT WITH ME AND QUACKERS!"

Sagepaw saw her sister. To anyone, this would be normal, to have seen her sister. But she hadn't seen Beechpaw in so long. Not even to sleep. They didn't even share a nest. And that felt... Not good. The she-cat's usual bossy self had changed. She was reserved, and... well, depressed. Blackbirdwing had left her, and Bumblestar had tossed her with her old mentor's sister? She had loved Blackbirdwing! He was going to teach her everything! Now she knew nothing. Sagepaw sighed, trotting over for a visit to Beechpaw. She still had the butterfly wing. Guilt washed over the small she-cat as she remembered how hers had gotten removed. Stepping closer to her sister, Sagepaw pressed her nose into Beechpaw's fur.
