One of the kids opened her eyes, listening to him tell the story. Before long they were all awake, staring at him in joy. Once he had finished and set the book down, his eyes widened in surprise. He glanced at the kids and then the books. He reluctantly grabbed Hansel and Gretel. Moon decided he’d been out too long and turned on the lights. Sun expected to see the same situation he had last time. But no, the kids were fine and Cassie was off doing who knows what.
