Morningkit had been happily snoozing away, all warm and cozy in his nest, but then he was rudely awoken by a whole bunch of noise! Letting out an affronted mrr, he unfurled his little body and waddled his way over to the entrance of the nursery to see what all the fuss was about. Woah, so many cats! A whole lot of them, more than he'd ever seen in the nursery—and a whole lot bigger too, he noticed with surprise. Would he become that big soon?

His round eyes caught sight of a couple familiar dark pelts. There was Midnightkit, toddling over to Papa! A crackling purr rumbled to life inside him and he stumbled briefly before tumbling his way over to his family. Morningkit settled himself on top of his father's front paws and tipped his head all the way back to stare up at him.

Grapevine's ears perked as Dawnstar called her name, surprised to hear she was receiving an apprentice. Once she spotted the young tom, she walked up to him with a small smile. "Nice to meet you. Once this meeting is done would you like to do some training?"

Batpaw nodded yes at his mentors question and grinned a little then turned back to the meeting.

Pausing to offer her new apprentice a quiet, regal nod, Larkfire noted with amusement that Hollowpaw [ @nykyrian ] had shut her eyes to the outside world. No doubt she was now lost in a fantasy of her own making, though Lark was unaware how realistic such a dreamland was. Hopefully, it was something achievable, so if Larkfire ever learned exactly what Hollowpaw dreamed for; she'd help deliver it on a silver platter. Dreams were meant to be pursued, after all.

Raising her head as Cougarpaw was called up - and named - Larkfire smiled demurely at her newest denmate, tail tip flicking as she lifted a paw to wave to Cougarbite [ @Archjay ]. He was too far for a proper congratulations to ensue, and Lark usually didn't partake in yapping out the newly named as her Clanmates did, so she'd just have to congratulate him later. It was a bit of a surprise, however, when Cougarbite was publicly admonished for.. ah yes, the bullying. Lark herself had been present when that had taken place. But at least, as long as Cougarbite had learned his lesson from this public shaming.

After having escorted the trespasser off of ShadowClan territory, Mirehound had sprinted back through the forest. Only when she neared camp had she slowed, caught her breath, and padded in calmly to camp, did she allow herself to breathe fully. Paws made their way down the rocky slope as the shadow rejoined the meeting, icy blue eyes sweeping over the crowd. Huh. No dead bodies, no yowling. It seemed the meeting was actually calm for once. Sitting near the back, she turned her attention up to Dawnstar to await the continuation, giving her a single nod to silently communicate that the situation had been handled.

Mousepaw

Nose tap of certain promise to be awesome mentor and apprentice duo forever complete, Mousepaw purred with glee, beaming up at Fuzzy, his hindquarters wiggling excitedly once more. According to the warrior, he was going to do his best to not fail him, so Mousekit - Mousepaw... paw, never Mousekit again, heh heh - had to do the same, and promise to do his best! The new apprentice nodded vigorously in response, a little hmph of certain escaping him with every nod. He was, admittedly, a little confused as to why Fuzzy said what he did, considering he knew the dark furred tom would never let him down. Silly, silly, but it was okay, it was okay. Maybe he just wanted confirmation that Mousepaw was going to be serious about this too.

And he was, he was! Mousepaw would do his best every day! He was going to be the most awesomest, most dedicated, most learning apprentice he could be, oh yes yes yes! Starting now! So, as the dutiful apprentice he was, Mousepaw instantly sat down next to Shadowfur, his head up and his chest puffed up as he imitated the older tom's stance... albeit in perhaps a somewhat exaggerated, overly eager fashion.

Looking back towards the Shadowledge, Bigmum started talking again, this time to the apprentice that had been called. Cougarpaw, was he? Oh oh, a new denmate! Not denmate. He was being turned into a warrior! Mousepaw's green eyes shone with awe as Cougarpaw gained his warrior name. He was Cougarbite now! Huzzah! Hurrah! Celebration all around!

Opening his mouth to chant out the new warrior's name, the young, gray apprentice almost choked as he bit down on his tongue. Bigmum was talking again, oh yes. One never interrupted mums when they were talking, oh no. Not only that, but Bigmum... she seemed upset. Very upset. Because... Gasp! Because Cougarbite was a bully?! Setting his jaw, Mousepaw scowled in the direction of the new warrior. Bullies were mean, and not nice, and they did not play fair, nope. He didn't like bullies, no no no. He had to make sure he did not turn into one just because he was an apprentice now. Make sure to be nice to everyone, yes yes yes. Besides, everything was more fun with friends!

Icebeam froze when her name was called. Dammit. What the hell did I do now? She was- a mentor now? "I- Wha-" Icebeam stuttered, before her voice went back to its cold and dry tone, "I mean... *sigh* Thank you Dawnstar. Well, off to find Sharppaw. Wherever the lil rascal went." She went to find her apprentice. "Hey. I'm Icebeam, your new mentor. I'm new to this mentor stuff so don't do anything stupid, ok?"

Sharppaw looked at her mentor and smiled "I'd say the same to you" She said as she sat in front of her mentor.

Vulturepaw watched in amusement of the new warrior getting yelled at in front of the clan but made sure not to make any noise as he didn’t want to disappoint Ivysnake.

Iciclestrike stuck next to Spiritpaw after touching my noses to look up and watch Dawnstar after the reassignments were done.

Foxcall hummed softly from their spot as they watched everything going on.

Sorrelflare ear twitched as he raised an eyebrow at the new warrior, he felt a small smirk twitch onto his maw before he made his face blank again as he turned his gaze toward Dawnstar.

"Great," Icebeam meowed in an emotionless voice, "Have you got any training? If not, where would you like to start?"
