Friend When was the last time they honestly called someone that? When they were younger they prided themselves on having so many. But with maturing they drifted away from that, coming more enthralled by their inanimate surroundings instead. And as much as they hated to admit it, they missed being surrounded by friends that could communicate back to them.

Brightdawn could earnestly say that Heathertail was their first friend in a while

|| Heather’Tail nodded, smiling with slight tears of joy in her eyes.

“That would mean a lot to me.”
She smiled, picking up her prey and nodding to Bright’Dawn. She flicked her tail, signalling for their companion to do the same.
As Heather’Tail padded back to camp, she thought back on the lovely day she had. Bright’Dawn was an amazing cat, and she would love to speak with them again.

Maybe, someday, they can grow old together, and see each other in Star’Clan. ||

Echopetal heard a noise and looked around to see a kit. 'Hello there!' she called softly. 'What's your name?' She glanced down at her belly, which was heavy with newborn kits. Would her kits be happy and cute like this kit?

snowwillow couldn't remember the last time she'd come to the adder rocks, if she'd even ever came to the area at all. long tail swaying side to side, the white and grey molly looked around as the duo arrived at the rocky location. poppies. poppiesss. hm. "okay..if we find poppies, i'm sure we can just bring back the whole flower??" she wondered, glancing over to acornnose. padding along the tall walls of rock, the young warriors gaze swept up and down in search of the red flowers.

Acornnose trotted silently alongside Snowwillow on the way to adder rocks, absently kicking along a stone as he went. What are we here for again? He blinked groggily at the molly, willing her to understand his unspoken question.

Oh ya. Poppies. He split off to search on his own, using his keen sense of smell to sniff out anything "poppy-like". Truth be told he had no idea what poppy seeds looked like... other than the fact that they grew inside a flower.

He sniffed mindlessly around the rocky terrain until a familiar scent caught his attention. A small patch of flowers stuck out from the crags. One yellow, one pink, and one red. One of these has to be a poppy seed flower... right?

He sloppily ripped the three flowers from the ground and held them in his mouth. His nose wrinkled slightly at the sticky residue the stems left behind. "I think I found... something!" His words were slightly muffled, but loud enough for Snowwillow to hear.

[ Shell’Smoke sat in the clearing, grooming his fur and purring lightly. Would he talk to someone? Probably not. He was quite shy unless someone came up to him and started the conversation.
Ooooh, what if someone did come up to him? How exciting! ]

Mountainhaze trekked through the shotr grass, her massive paws leaving imprints in the earth. The air smelled heather-y. Bit Mountainhaze was looking for some prey. Maybe a rabbit.

He stretched his paws in-front of him then closed his eyes and let out a soft purr "So tell me more about yourself so i can become a better friend for you" His tone was mellow and satisfied.

She looked at him again, “but you’re already a good friend, I don’t see why we need to know more about each other since there isn’t much about me.” The young kit shrugged and she stretched her paws.

He shook his head and drew his paws closer to his chest. " It still would be helpful to know more like what are some pet peeves of yours?" He rolled on his sided then flipped to the other side removing the hot dust form under his back even if that meant ruffling his fur, or getting a little bit of moist but cold dirt smudged against it.

Once he was settled he rolled on his back once more and looked the molly in the eyes.

Ah there! As soon as Berrykit settled on a spot to sit, she could spot a cat! A queen, one of the few ones whose name she could recall since they slept in the same den. "Hey Echopetal! Im Berrykit! Shingingmoon's kit if you remember her." It was about a moon now since her mother had died, but some of the other queens might still know who she had been.

The pale molly's green and blue eyes followed the queen's gaze as the grown cat glanced down at their round belly. "Right, of course, you're a queen, you have kits, duh!" She laughed a little nervously at her own dumbness. "When are they born? I look forward to having new cats around." Not really, strangers could be difficult, but maybe growing up around them made it easier.
