Breezykit glanced around the nursery, unsure of what to do. He decided to check the fresh-kill pile, as he was starving. He picked up a small shrew so that he wouldn't have to share, and carried it back to the nursery entrance, where he quickly devoured every morsel.

Cottontuft nodded, and searched for the apprentice. “Well, Mistpaw. Have you been to Adder Rocks before? Because trust me, they’re not for the faint of heart.” He chuckled. (I can post a starter in Adder Rocks.)

The skinny tom felt relief wash over him at the sight of Twilightstar walking into camp; though the relief only further degraded the adrenaline-barrier between the wounds he’d sustained and the pain he felt. He bowed his head to acknowledge his understanding. See Cowpaw. He glanced back at Fernpaw forlornly and doubtful that pulling the apprentice away would be any small task. He flinched as a wave of pain radiated from his shoulder. He grunted softly against the pain and decided ushering Fernpaw away from Wolffang would be the task of another cat. As for Lioncloud, as Toadpounce turned he caught Bravebird bristling facing the she-cat. Toadpounce’s pelt crawled with second-hand embarrassment for Lioncloud as he caught every few anger-charged words from Bravebird. He had no defense for the she-cat but felt for her public shaming nonetheless.

He turned back to Twilightstar quickly to address her question and pull himself away from the confusing emotions of everything going on around Wolffang. “The Thunderclan border. Wolffang thought it’d be helpful to run an extra patrol over the border…” Toadpounce winced as Twilightstar turned towards the gathering of mourning cats but turned to walk slowly with her. ”But the dogs…they came out of nowhere from across the border…” He shuddered at the memory which sent another wave of pain throughout his body. “They…they ran back the way they’d come.” With his report given, Toadpounce stood still and watched with morbid curiosity as Wolffang slowly slipped closer to Starclan. He reminded himself to breathe as his mind wondered darkly what he was going through, what it felt like to linger so close to death. He glanced around guiltily before averting his gaze, worried that the grieving cats who loved Wolffang could somehow see his thoughts.

Fernpaw's eyes snapped open and he lurched forward, hunched over as he coughed and sputtered out an obscene amount of water and fluid. He felt sick, was shaky, and so cold. His pelt was clumpy from semi-dried water, like someone had pulled him from the river and left him to drip out onto the ground.

But somehow, he doubt that happened. He didn't know why he was on the cliffs now, he honestly felt too tired to care. Fernpaw staggered away from the distasteful pile to sink into the grass a few fox-lengths away. The gagging had subsided though his stomach hurt, and his throat and lungs burned. maybe a nap would help?

A sly grin appeared on her face as the queen glared at her. She would be sure to tell Twilightstar about that and see how the leader felt about the cats who were suppose to take care of and watch the Clans young looking at them so. "Keep glaring at me and I'll take your eyes out," she muttered under her breath, and was about to turn back to Turtlepaw when she heard a squeaky voice speak up.

Offering an apologetic smile to Turtlepaw, Laurelkit padded over to where Ashkit was. "Your "mama" is a stupid, stinky old fox-heart and I am sorry you have her as your mom. It must be very unfortunate to hear the truth." Lifting her chin at the kit, she gave a scoff before turning her back pointedly on the young kit and stalking back over to Turtlepaw. "Do not follow me unless you want a claw to the face, pipsqueak," she tossed over her shoulder at the kit, smiling once more at Turtlepaw. "Sorry about that, Turtlepaw. What kind of shells you got?"

Ashkit looked at the rude kit with tears welling up in her scarlet eyes, then to Fireflame and wailed,”Momma! The kits are being mean to you again again!”

She walks into the moor. "Go ahead, take this one."

Turtlepaw was not a particularly good hunter but would try anyway. He sniffed the air for some prey. He was excitedly bouncing around, staring at butterflies and smelling the flowers. Distracted, he smooshed his nose into a pretty purple flower and sniffed it happily, forgetting what he was supposed to be doing.
