Leafriver walked with Briarpaw and Leechscar. His small, cut, short, tail stood up straight as he glanced at Briarpaw smiling a little at them, before padding away.

"I hear that StarClan is where dead cats go and that it's very nice there. Don't you think?" Dewkit asked politely, hoping Halffur didn't think them rude.

is whatever you think it is, wonderful or not" his tail flicked "about my pelt, i do not know"

"Hmmm," Dewkit said noncomittally, pondering. "Well, StarClan is amazing because everyone else says so, and they're smart cats," Dewkit nodded as they spoke, then peered at Halffur again. "I bet you look like that because you were born on a sunny-cloudy day." The kit's conclusion was very, very flawed, but they really didn't know how else Halffur got that unique pelt.

True to her name, Lightningkit's mood had changed quick as lightning, her fear morphing to interest, leading the way to a playful spark at the idea of some fun. Snowybreeze felt his heart soar at this, grateful that he finally seemed to have corrected his previous mistake, scaring her silly over his warnings. He hadn't meant to do so, of course! The massive tom simply wanted to ensure that his words were taken seriously. He would rather have living, breathing clanmates in good health if it was all the same to them.

So giddy was his mood he almost missed the quiet response Scalepaw gave the kit. Almost. At the singular word, Snowybreeze's mismatched ears perked up, a hopeful glance thrown in the apprentice's direction. Could it be that Scalepaw was finally feeling more comfortable in the lesson, as well? A purr arose from the gentle giant's throat, a rumbling, thunderous sound more fitting his stature than the more usual, silent tone of voice he carried.

"Excellent! We can properly learn to tackle badgers after we learn how to deal with hawks. Now, for this exercise, Scalepaw, you have nothing to fear from birds of prey. You are big enough that they will give you your space. So, instead of learning to defend in combat, you will learn to defend with stealth. Does this sound good? Lightningkit, if you could please step forward?" the young warrior stated, making sure this was something Scalepaw needed to learn while calling Lightningkit forth. After all, she would have to be in an open space if she wanted to learn to defend herself in an open space.

Rabbiteye stalked over too a bird then pounced in it, pinning it's wings to the ground. It barely managed to let out a cry before he had snapped it's neck in his teeth.
