She ran to the big warrior cat as fast as her little legs could take her, trying to keep up. "Okay! "I- I want to be a medicine cat!" The small she-cat was sure that there was a reason for Buckstar demoting the other Frost- Frostpaw. Yet the memory of the medicine cat apprentice telling her about being made the next medicine cat apprentice still was stuck in her head. "Maybe we are at battle with another clan?"

At that Badgerleaf threw her head back in laughter. This had become a much more fun and interesting conversation than she had originally thought. Sure, it was smart to talk about Gathering announcements and what the other Clans might be up to, but it was just as important to have silly time. Time spent laughing with Clanmates, instead of always tip toeing on the edge of seriousness. "Oh boy, I feel like I haven't laughed like that in ages. Ever since I became a warrior, everything's been so... serious." A twinkle appeared in her eye as she smiled at Spidercrawl. "I must thank you for the entertainment that came along with my meal."

A smile spread across her maw as Frostkit picked the identity of a medicine cat. Sure, in Applekit's view she didn't see them as above the warriors or those who defended the Clan, but they were still an important part of Clan life... "Alright! In that case, Frostkit, I need you to start the preparations for a surprise attack! I will be leading a patrol of warriors over to ShadowClan; they have taunted us for the last time!" Her voice sounded much bigger than she was as she stood with her shoulders back, tail up, and ears alert. If she were bigger, perhaps she would've looked to be a pretty intimidating warrior. "They've been stealing prey all leaf-bare, and it's time we put a stop to it."

Specklenose sat in the nursery, quite as a mouse, until giving a yelp of distress. The kits where coming! "Foxthorn?" She called out. "Foxthorn come quick!"

Spidercrawl purred, laying down and resting his chin on his paws. He was more than a little surprised to have someone to talk and joke with, and felt it ages since he'd done so.
"You're welcome. It does end up like that once we become warriors, doesn't it?" He answered. "Though, I'm not sure how to feel about my fur predicament being entertainment, but I'm glad I could help."

As Branchwhisker came into camp with his pathetic catch, he felt felt the anger fade into a mild irritation. He set the three skinny voles in the freshkill pile and set to grooming himself. He flattened the fur of his shoulders, which stuck up, making him look like a bush. He finished and selected one of the voles for his meal. He hissed to himself and ate the vole in what seemed like two bites. Branchwhisker sighed with frustration.

The tomcat perked up from his nest as his newest denmate waltzed in. "Tawny!" the golden-furred feline greeted. He approached her, grinning widely at the much younger apprentice. With a sweeping motion of his paw, Lionpaw introduced, "Welcome to the apprentices' den! There's a free nest back there, so you don't need to build a new one." He flicked his tail. "So Buckstar didn't delay you're ceremony. Let me know if you need anything; I betcha I'll be able to help. It doesn't even need to be apprentice related or anything."

Fizzlekit padded right onto Buckstar's nest, laying right next to him. The autistic tom was so excited he was kneading the bedding below him. "Den warm. Nursery sometimes cold.", he muttered. If he had cats to lay with he was always warm, but sometimes his mother left to do some night hunting. Fizzlekit was sometimes left for the other queens to take care of.
