Gravehound wasnt really a fighter so he wasnt planning on tussling with a coyote in any manner anyway. What he was now planning on was trying to get Buckstar to take a nap. Hmmmm maybe sitting outside his den so he wouldnt be disturbed for a time with unimportant stuff? Sure occasionally the leader would have to be bothered by the big things but the mute tom got the idea that some of the things cats brought to Buckstar in his den werent at all worth bothering him. It wasn an idea Gravehound would have to refine later at the very least he was gonna bring the other tom some prey and stare at him until he ate it, food is important.

Coyotes. So that was the name of the seemingly unearthly beast who has mauled and murdered the warrior. Forestpaw felt a shiver race down her spine just thinking about the body, and the horrible beast so close to camp. If coyotes ever made it here....the kits...Brightpaw...Sageflurry....everyone would be in danger.
Silently praying to Starclan that the coyotes would leave soon Forestpaw sat quiet and still so Buckstar could continue the meeting.

Hareflood had snapped his gaze away from Buckstar as he carried away the disemboweled corpse of Bluetooth in time to see Sunpoppy weasel into camp.
He stalked across the clearing to meet him, tail swishing. "Where have you been!" His voice was a low growl, trying to keep his composure together but it was quickly failing. "Two cats got ripped apart by coyotes and you -- I couldn't freaking find you, man." What if he had been one of them? Hareflood didn't know what he'd do without the only cat who got him.
