Ravenvine had been out patrolling again at night. He find it more enjoyable as he walked through the forests and it was all quiet, all still and all dark. It was peaceful. So he walked and walked, further up north than he himself went on his lonely dark night trips. He was blind but it was no evident as the black tom wandered with extreme confidence through the pine trees. He was confident.
He'd never set a paw wrong as soon as he'd learned to see with his other senses. However this would not last forever and his confidence despite his blindness would be his downfall. He did not hear the roaring lake in the distance as he was too busy just enjoying the quiet and enjoying the peacefulness.
He walked and walked, closer to the cliffs and the lake beneath them... That was when a wind buffeted him and caused him to change his direction. He picked up his pace and started running, enjoying the strong wind through his fur.
However that was when it was too late. The black tom had run out over the edge, and his momentum was too strong and he plummeted directly down into the lake, letting out yelps and screeches of panic. It was horrible, he felt the cold of the water set in quick and he kept moving his legs trying to stay aloft, trying and trying and he kept calling out. But there was no one. No one... And as the weight of his fur finally dragged him under, the breath left the black tom one last time and he was gone.
Gone to join his ancestors in Starclan... That was all the black tom could do as he stared at the remains of a shell he no longer needed.

Daisybloom's trip through Windclan territiry on her way to the border was quite. The wind was softer than the previous day, but there was still a bite to it that made her eager to get home to Shadowclan.
Leaving had been...it felt uncomfortable in a way. Like she was leaving something she shouldn't as she brushed her nose into the sleek fur of the warrior she had befriended. Daisybloom would deny she stayed like that longer than she should to memorize the way his sun warmed pelt smelled as they bit each other good bye.
She tried to pretend she didn't see the strange look that passed through Breezefeather's eyes too. But the molly was sure she had had a similar expression.
Why was her stomach twisting in knots when she was heading home?
The calico slumped her shoulders as she moved forward, doing her best not to look back at the moorlands. She didn't belong there. Even if the sky made me feel so free. Even if taking a running leap down a hill felt like flying for the briefest time.
The Shadowclanner was walking down the incline to lower ground were the rivers edge and the forest met. She deep in her thoughts she almost didn't see the dark lump among the smooth pebbles, covered in the coarse sands. Jerking to a stop in curiosity, thinking maybe it was a water bird she could hunt and bring back to Shadowclan, the she-cat stalked over to hid herself from view in a patch of river reeds to study her find. Unfortunately, it was not prey as she discovered.
With a gasp, the calico jolted back u to her paws to run to the water logged dark furred body of who she recognized as Ravenvine. The cat was still, and from the temperature of his wet fur and stiffness of limbs he's been dead a good while.
"Oh, Ravenvine, how did you even end up all he way over here?" she whispered to herself in grief at seeing a dead clan mate. Not wanting to leave him here for carrion to get to his remains, the she-cat dragged the corpse out the rest of the way from the water. He was heavy, and she knew before she could even really think about it that carrying him home was going to make her trip much longer and tire her out.
Still, she looked down at her fallen Shadowclanner and sat a few moments in a respectful silence before sighing at her inability to just leave him until she brought back others to retrieve his body. Shimming herself under the corpse until the majority of his body lay over her, she lifted up with a grunt and started the slow, arduous journey back to Shadowclan to bring her clan mate home.

Re: ShadowClan Territory
Touch, taste, sight, hearing and now smell. Stormlily held back a giggle as Nightpaw did look slightly silly with the technique she taught her. "Okay lastly smell!" The warrior chirped happily to the apprentice. "Obviously you know how to smell but over time you have to memorize and recognize what scent you are smelling. So let's do a little game. It's called smell me or not!" She was visibly excited as this was her favorite game to play. "It's like hide-n-seek but you have to use your nose to find me!" Hopefully her apprentice would find this much fun as she does.

Re: ShadowClan Territory
Nightpaw held back a small giggle herself as she stopped the interesting technique- maybe she could show it to Jaykit sometime, he would surely find it amusing.
The young apprentice lifted her mismatched gaze to look at Stormlily, a small smile plastered on her maw. She nodded as her mentor spoke "so-sounds kind-a fu-fun" she mew quietly "d-do I ha-ve to cl-close my ey-es when sear-searching?" she followed- Nightpaw assumed that she had to, so it may have been a question with an obvious answer, but she still preferred to ask just to be sure.

He wasn't sure what he'd do without his tail it was strange to think about. He was tugged out of his skittish musing by Rabbithop's voice. The smile on his maw bloomed as he shoved his worries to the furthest depths of his mind. "I'd loved to." His happy go luck persona returned with the thought of going out hunting. It's been a little while since he's made time to just go out and do whatever it was he wanted to do. " Do you think we can catch any snakes around here?" He couldn't help but ask, his long bushy tail waving back and forth as if it was wagging like a dog's tail. The last time he attempted to catch one was before he had Silentpaw to care for.

Rabbithop could tell the deputy was staring at his tail, but truthfully didn’t mind. He felt no shame in being the way StarClan and the forest made him look. In fact, he was somewhat proud of the little detail; it made him recognizable. The deputy’s smile blooming on his face was contagious. Rabbithop smiles right back, yellow eyes sparking with pleasure. Rabbithop, not being the very violent tom he was, felt a little uncomfortable at the question. Though he wasn’t afraid of snakes he just found them... uncomfortable. And dangerous. But Rabbithop wouldn’t rain on Beastspark’s parade. With a thoughtful tilt of his head, he finally nodded. “We might.” He murmured thoughtfully, scanning around the territory before looking back at him. “But we might have a better chance for snakes if we go where there’s some sunny rocks. Snakes like to sun themselves, don’t they?” He noticed the deputy’s lashing tail with a little flutter of envy. Though he wished he could have a nice, thick tail like his, he wouldn’t say anything about it. Instead, he noticed the pile of needles that still stuck to it. “My, have you been picking up the forest floor with your tail?” He joked with a chuckle. Rabbithop meant no harm in joking, but he truly thought all the needles and dirt sticking to the tip of his tail was a little funny. “Do you want help getting them off?” He asked.

Re: ShadowClan Territory
Duststorm was stalking a fat lizard, when sticking to the dark shadows she was near invisible due to her dark grey coat. Green eyes tracked her prey's movement, and she crept closer. Without taking her eyes off the lizard she prepared to pounce. One quick leap, and she had caught the lizard. It was a fat one, and along with the two mice she had found, she had managed a pretty good hunt.
The small shecat gathered her prey up and began slowly walking back to camp, as she was in no hurry to return. She enjoyed her walks among the trees more than almost anything else, and hunting was great too. Being alone in the forest always brightened her mood no matter the circumstances.

Stormlily beamed at Nightpaw when she said that the game sounded fun. "Well when you're counting yeah but when you are looking I'll allow you to use your eyes. Don't want you to bump into any trees!" Bumping shoulders with the young molly. "Count to thirty and try to find me. I promise I won't be far." The warrior just wanted to see how good the apprentice would take the challenge. Before blasting off Stormlily wanted to make sure that her apprentice's eyes were closed. Waving her paw in front of Nightpaw and not getting a reaction the older molly was satisfied that she wouldn't cheat.
Stormlily couldn't keep the large smile off of her face as she quickly moved away and looked for a good hiding spot. To throw Nightpaw off she backtracked a few times and in circles before jumping onto a low hanging branch of a tree. Thankfully with her dark multi-hued pelt, she blended in perfectly with the scene and waited to be found.

"No..." mewed the grey tom with amusement in his amber eyes, "I was uh, getting a head start, yeah, a head start." he mewed narrowing his eyes with amusement still gleaming in his eyes. BlackSwift trotted along towards the camp.

Re: ShadowClan Territory
"Hello...?" Heather awoke in a place unfamiliar – tall pine trees towering over her. This didn't look like anything like home...
"Mama? Mama, where are you!" She mewled desperately, tears streaming her fluffy cheeks as she scanned the area. She was too afraid to move, so she sat pressed fearfully against the giant pine that sheltered her from the rain.

Re: ShadowClan Territory
Now that they were away from some of the ..insanity, Falcondive spun on his paws to face Honeypaw.
This-- was weird, he felt out of his element after just becoming a warrior. Thanks to Honeyleaf, he went from being on vigil to confronting a traitor and fighting in battle in less than a day. He was tired, but determined to at least get Honeypaw where he needed to be.
"What have you learned so far? Hunting? Fighting? The territories?"

Nightpaw let out a small giggle before nodding and closing her eyes to count. She made sure to keep her eyes shut tightly as she slowly and quietly started to count to thirty, sitting down during the process.
Once reached thirty, the young apprentice opened her eyes, and, out of habit, looked around before. or wait- ouch she was supposed to use scents not her sight! Nightpaw got back to her paws and did her best to try and find Stormlily's scent. It wasn't all that easy- she always relied much more on her eyes than she did the scents and didn't pay much attention to the her mentor's scent either. But after an little bit she was able to find it- kind of- it seemed that the scent was in.. many places. She walked bit one way, away from where Stormlily actually was, until finally realising that that trail was leading nowhere. She turned around went the other way- the scent seemed to be slightly stronger there but she wasn't sure, in all honesty, it was quite confusing.
