Nuka and Vitani are the only ones who cared about me, so I don't really care.

"Like the place, huh?" Coby beamed proudly at the house-like structure he had built from driftwood and coconut shells, nestled in a cave and next to a beautiful waterfall. "Never got enough supplies to build myself a boat, so I just made that little cabin." And now you're going to steal the boat from this innocent girl and leave her here. No, I'm not. I'm going to ask to join her, idiot.

"Uh-huh." Kila gave him a blank look, turning toward the Pridelands. She could only see water, and it made her grin, but it faltered. She really wished her brother had come along. "Kion would love this." She sighed to herself, before glancing back toward the island. It didn't seem like much to explore - And there was already someone else here. So, she simply headed for the boat again, deciding to venture further into the sea.

"So." Kovu murmured, ears flicking. "You and her settled down yet?"
"Got a cave near the pond." Kion nodded down a hill, turning and heading in the opposite direction.
"Oh." Kovu blinked, heading after him. "You don't think you're moving a bit too fast?"
"Don't be dumb, Kovu." Kion sighed. "I really like Atazi. Maybe it'll work out, maybe it won't. I just wanna see where it goes."
"Well,." Kovu glanced up at the sky. "I guess it's better you than someone else."
"Trust me, I know. I'm the best." Kion said cheekily.
"Someone's gotten egotistical." Kovu mumbled.
Kion let out a laugh, much to Kovu's surprise. "Damn right."

You're losing your chance. "Ahh- wait, please don't leave me here!" Coby called after her, scrambling to his paws and running down the beach. His chest rose and fell rapidly as he stood in front of Kila. "I've been on this damn island for the majority of my life." He pleaded with her, shifting his paws and looking down at her, gazing into her amber eyes. "Take me with you." He said firmly, the demi-angel twitching his shoulder blades, wishing there were wings attached to them. "I doubt you even know how to sail that boat in stormy weather." He glanced at the raft-like structure, grimacing. It definitely needs some work.

"Of course I know how to sail it. I'm not an idiot." But Kila looked taken aback, not expecting him to want to come. After all, he had a beautiful cabin here. And he was alone. But maybe that was the problem. Maybe other people didn't like being alone like she did. Kila didn't hesitate, but she did think about this for a moment. "Of course you can come with me. As long as you don't mind an adventure. I don't intend on returning to my home anytime soon." Her eyes sparkled slightly as she glanced toward the ocean, her paws kneading into the ground with anticipation.

"Adventure, eh?" Coby looked out at the ocean and grinned. Everything's coming together nicely. He puffed out his chest. "I don't mind an adventure."

"Good, then." Kila smiled warmly, but it melted almost instantly. She cleared her throat, her eyes hardening, her expression becoming more guarded. "Well then, lets go. Get whatever you wanna bring with you." She turned and headed back to the boat. She pushed it with her shoulder, nudging it slowly back into the water as she waited for Coby.

Coby grabbed his staff in his jaws, jumping on and settling down by the sail.
