Shadeblossom looked around the camp for a hunting buddy. Sure, she could do it herself, alone, but why not make bonds, just for today?
@Oakpaw1 (I saw your 'looking for anyone!)
DArkheart padded out. "greetings Shadeblossom want to hunt?" (darkheart si evil evil evil!) (watch out)

(Did I mention Shadeblossom trains in the dark forest?? -A-)
"Sure." Shadeblssom smiled, following Darkheart out of the clearing.

Hours: 3 - 5 PM Pacific Time! However some days I may not be available
Despite seeing nothing deeply personal, simply happening upon her clanmate by pure chance on her hasty walk, there was something that felt so deeply, deeply wrong about what she was seeing. The she-cat had been so much more preoccupied with running over her questions and anxieties about Duskfern, nearly having missed the sight of another cat entirely with her eyes focused squarely on the pine-laden ground in front of her. Nearly, though; that work was key. The dark shape of the young warrior just managed to catch her amber eye despite the tom blending in with his eerie, dark surroundings. Perhaps it was the faint scent of bile that pulled the queen from her own mind, to pause and stare at the half-hunched shape of Wolfwhisper as he settled down and craned his neck to the stars.
It wasn’t curiosity Honeyfrost felt, it was hesitance, and the solid rock of worry that hung in her chest at all times getting just the slightest bit heavier. Yet, despite the feeling that none of this was her business, the cat stayed, watching for what felt like days before tentatively taking a step into the clearing.
“I’m sorry.”
The she-cat paused again, once more filled with the overwhelming sense that she should not be here; that her presence infringing on something so personal would only create worse issues. The sense didn’t seem to stop her, though, opening her mouth instinctively. “What for?”
Her words were soft, though they lacked a sweetness that Honeyfrost always wished she could harness, instead of the sharpness that seemed to bleed into everything she said whether she wanted it to or not. Asking such a question before even making her presence known was easily a poor choice, but the queen had to roll with it now; it wasn’t like she could scrounge up anything better to say, so first instinct was the best she really had.
Wolfwhisper let the words be carried away by the wind. His eyes flickering closed as he allowed the silence to overtake his thoughts. The voice awfully quiet now. He was tired, stubbornly refusing to let his mind drift in fright of returning back to that moment. It was already beginning to drift from his mind - the pathetic scene of a warrior succumbing to their thoughts. Eventually Wolfwhisper would rise and drag his paws, returning back to his home but for now he allow himself to focus on the moon.
Of course, it seemed like Starclan had other plans. (Of course they did.) Of course they did.
A sudden voice piped up, questioning the sentence that had left Wolfwhisper's mouth. He stiffened, fear rushing into his bones as he quickly bounced to his paws. His fur rose and now he was panicking again he really didn't want to because it was so bad earlier he didn't --.. Eyes darting around for where the source was and oh no -- it -- Wolfwhisper relaxed as his gaze landed on Honeyfrost. "O, oh .. hello, " He offered a weak smile, a certain drawl missing from his tone. He spoke barely above a whisper - ha - ouch, his throat hurt.
"Uhm, " He took a small step back at the question, trying to think of an answer. Wolfwhisper ended up surrounding to a shrug of his shoulders. "M, my .. existence.?" He croaked, letting out a dry laugh as if it was a time to be humorous. He didn't really want to bother the poor Queen. (Your worries are quite foolish, anyway.)
Wolfwhisper then took a very steps closer, "It's .. late.. Why are you - " He took a moment of pause, weakly coughing. Yeah. By morning his voice would be gone. "out here? Is.. everything alright..?" He finished, genuine concern in his tone.

(To those who would like to join in, please see this thread: http://warriorcatsonline.com/forums/...ad.php?t=40574. I will have a limit of two cats attacking her at once, and will inform you when it’s your character’s turn.)
Duskfern traveled through the pine tree forest, in all probability, for the last time. She would rue this day: the day her own home had casted her out. For a moment, she took some time to think about the cause. Perhaps it had been her fault, but she gained too much fatigue to give serious thought to it. Duskfern was only but sure of one thing: she didn’t regret standing up to Dawnstar. The dark brown-furred leader was less that ideal to be around, but numerous other cats would certainly disagree. Bitter wind blew through her rather ragged fur, and her eyes narrowed slightly. She would have to be aware of those cats now. Sniffing the air a few times, Duskfern caught onto the scent of two ShadowClan cats. It seemed about time.
Though she had a wearisome journey, it also sharpened her battle skills. “There’s no point in hiding,” She called out with a hiss, claws now unsheathed. “I’m going to have many attackers, so make it quick.”
Duskfern’s tail lashed in irritation as she awaited claws and teeth to overcome her. She held onto her chances of survival with care, but at this point, being a coward was not very pleasing.
Dapplecloud roamed the territory. She had beautiful kits now and she didn't have to go walking with the weight of the kits. She hadn't been in the territory in a while. Mind you, she hadn't been doing anything at all for a while. This felt...refreshing.
As she padded through the territory, a whiff of something caught her nose. She looked around and she sniffed again. She recognized the scent. It was that traitor Duskfern. Remembering what Dawnstar said about being able to attack that traitor, she followed the scent while hiding.
She stopped as Duskfern seemed to know they were there. Dapplecloud slowly padded out into view, looking at Duskfern. "Someone seems a bit eager to be attacked. I don't blame you. I like fights." She meowed. Without a second thought, Dapplecloud leaped towards Duskfern, making it seem like she was aiming for the paws but in reality aiming for the shoulders.
Duskfern’s ears flicked as a voice responded to her, accompanied by lips that soon curled into a malicious smile. She analyzed her to be Dapplecloud, a ShadowClan queen. At first sight, the chimera she-cat was reluctant to attack her, as it was seen shameful to attack queens, kits, and elders. Though, she was certain a choice didn’t come available as Dapplecloud performed a pounce. Duskfern, in the split moment she was given, assumed her opponent’s intention was to aim for the paws, but as she aimed higher her mind changed.
As Dapplecloud was landing, Duskfern ducked down so that she was placed on her back. She was sure to leave her mark then and there with the advantage, but she wasn’t the only one who could play at this game. The chimera she-cat braced herself for the bit of pain that she was to endure. Perhaps her actions of allowing the attacker to continue seemed foolish, but every action in a battle should always come along with a plan.
“You know, I always thought of it as mortifying to inflict damage upon a queen,” She commented within the depths of battle. “It’s too bad that rule doesn’t apply to me anymore.”
Crystalkit wandered into shadowclan teritory. She was just exploring when she had found herself on the thunderpath. She ran to the other side but now she was too scared of the cars to go back. The familiar windclan scent was gone.
(Feel free to attack the kit)
The queen missing Wolfwhisper’s own question entirely seemed like quite the coincidence; despite the she-cat glossing over it as expertly as if the words hadn’t even left his mouth, it was clear she was intentionally darting around giving an answer. She hadn’t a clue in her head, not one, about how she could possibly stitch together the words to answer truthfully or dismissively, so Honeyfrost didn’t even make an attempt. Instead, with an apologetic look after watching her clanmate’s panic, Honeyfrost honed in on the tom’s first answer. “You couldn’t have done anything to deserve that kind of pain.” There was clear sympathy in her voice, but her tone was strong and her words were blunt. If it was possible to feel a heart crack, she’d felt it at the sight of a clanmate she barely knew in such clear disarray; humour couldn’t really be called humour when it was such a thinly veiled cover for distress, there was nothing joyful about the way the young cat let out his crackly chuckle, and it was enough to make her check feel heavy as a rock.
Despite having wanted a softer voice moments before, the cat was endlessly thankful that the words had come out as intently as she felt they needed to be. Perhaps the queen should have thought more first, rather than getting her voice in the second the tom was finished, but picking her words carefully was never the molly’s greatest skill; the urgent feeling of needing to tell this cat something outweighed any agonizing over her eloquence in the end. She still spoke with great sympathy alongside the commanding edge, never losing the expression she carried or pursuing Wolfwhisper as he tentatively stepped back and forth. ”Something devastating could have happened, or you could have made a terrible mistake, but only good souls can worry that both of those are true. It’s one or the other, no truly evil cat would tear themselves to pieces so brutally.” Her amber eyes, as pleading as they looked, seemed intended to bore holes into the other cat, her blunt answer off-puffing in the quietness the clearing had felt before.
Honeyfrost had no clue what happened to this tom, but she did kmow she wouldn’t be able to live with herself if she didn’t say something in an attempt to help. She truly believed it, that there wasn’t a thing on this earth that Wolfwhisper could have done to warrent thoughts so awful the she-cat could feel his hopelessness from the mere sight.

Brackenpaw padded amongst the undergrowth, occasionally ducking to avoid being slapped in the face by a rogue branch. There were other things to be worried about, more pressing matters to be addressed, of course, but she was an apprentice, that means no cat pays attention to her when it came to important matters. One day, though.
The prospect of angry BunnyClan patrols was a looming thing, but unfortunately for them, they owed the unending debt of Dawnstar saving Bunnystar and the little scraps of fur she pumped out. Wouldn't it be fun to go over there sometime and remind them of that. Pffft, nah, not anytime soon.
Launching herself up, she dug her claws into the bark of a nearby pine and hauled herself up onto a branch. It was easier to climb coniferous trees than those bare trunked oaks SquirrelClan used. There was a certain... passing of the torch between ol' Bucky and Eveningmist. Now there was yet another Squirrelstar's up on their dumb Lightning Oak, or whatever they call it.
So... with RiverClan murdering ThunderClan cats, and ThunderClan murdering RiverClan cats, that made ShadowClan look like it was more sane than usual! Brackenpaw snorted, almost falling out of the tree by the hysterical prospect.

Bouncepaw had been...around, digging holes in odd places, sticking his nose where it didn't belong- it was a blessing that his pelt blended in with the soil, letting himself slip around mostly unnoticed.
He caught glimpse of a shecat up in the trees, leaping from branch to branch. He stared, looking, thinking...
"Brackenpaw!" he hollered, ears perked, "Howsit g-going? I haven't seen much of you s-since you came into the medicine den. I trust you've b-been holding up well?" Bouncepaw hopped up onto a nearby rock, making himself more visible. His paws looked dry and crusted.
It was nice knowing cats around Shadowclan, he almost felt a sense of security for the first time in...a while.
