Flyfur followed Finchpaw. When she saw Halfstone, her unshed tears slipped free, blurring her vision. "You mouse brain," she angrily whispered. "You fool, you blundering idiot. Why did you wait?"
She buried her face into his shoulder and flopped to the ground, like she did when they were kits and she had been smaller than him. Flyfur sat like that for several minutes before turning to Finchpaw against.
"Thank you. I'm sorry you had to see this. Could you-" she didn't know what she was trying to ask. To move his body or get someone else to help or..... what. Her brain went blank and she stared wordlessly through the apprentice, suddenly not present.

lionstar was feeling overwhelmed with everything, a rarity when he was usually very boisterous. but everything was getting to him. fawn, otterstone, the injuries alongside his inability to sleep.

owlpaw. death. he could see the panic of finchpaw and flyfur and owlflight and willowpaw's corpse and whatshername bringing back owlpaw. lightstreak, yes.

but it was a lot.. and he didn't feel ready to handle it. "get her settled back in, have flyfur take over her training." he muttered to lightstreak as his dark gaze fell upon willowpaw.

why couldn't the clan be happy for once?

ripping his claws into the ground, he snarled faintly in the direction of the bodies. "get them out of here." whether or not a vigil took place.. he didn't care right now. "owlflight, since halfstone appears to be dead you can have greenpaw as an apprentice. i'm sure you can handle telling her."

was that apprentice cursed? lionstar was beginning to get bad vibes from greenpaw. willowrose.. halfstone now..

shaking his head, he was quick to head out of camp. he needed a break. he needed.. to not think, to escape, to not.. deal with more stuff than what he was currently trying to handle.

And he wasn't going to get it in this clearing of coldness and death.

After being acquainted with the "camp", Bean — no, Beankit felt a bit more confident. Though he didn’t have Grizzlybug by his side, perhaps he could meet new cats. Even make a new friend or two. Wouldn’t Grizz be proud? It was hard to focus, though, attempting to find his way through the large camp with overwhelming scents and too many faces to remember. The siamese tried to lay low. He was unsure many knew of his prescience, as Lionstar hadn’t even announced him by name at the ceremony. Just one of "a few kits". While that wasn’t the best first impression of the so-called "handsome and powerful leader", he didn’t mind too much. In fact, Beankit preferred to stay out of the limelight. That certainly wasn’t his interest.

He walked forward, crystal blue eyes fixed on his soft, clawless paws. Of course, he had to remind himself of that. Beankit frowned. Everyone here had been so kind to him. First Grizzlybug, then Sootflare, even Lionstar didn’t show any scorn towards him. Why did he keep doubting himself? As Grizz had told him, he was just one month — well, moon, away from being an apprentice himself. He’d make a great warrior! He didn’t need claws!

But he did need to look up. Quickly after reaffirming that he’d be a warrior, Beankit nearly tripped on another cat. Looking up, mortified, the kitten stuttered. "I’m sorry, I’m sososo sorry...!" he hoped the cat wasn’t mad at him! What would they do? Tell Lionstar? Get him kicked out? Force him back to his humans? Oh no! "Are you okay? I’m so sorry! Please don’t tell Lionstar!" Perhaps not the most subtle approach, but the last thing Beankit wanted was to be kicked out of the RiverClan so soon after getting in. He backed up, afraid.

Fawnsqueak had been fumbling his way through memorization of the new knowledge, and it was... kind of boring, that part anyway. He preferred the other order of business: playing with his materials. He chewed through chervil and goldenrod to create a pulp like Coyotesnarl instructed, but he hadn't been prepared for it to be so messy or gross, or such a delicate process. Spreading it on himself was an even more difficult endeavor with his fur getting in the way and nothing was staying in place and it was hard. Nothing like he thought it'd be. Although the second round of testing was a little smoother, it was going to be a long road of practice ahead if he wanted to be semi-proficient at it.

Squinting, he was steady-pawed as he began to spread the cobwebs across a pretend wound. Carefully... one small ministration at a time. Precision.

That all went to the stars when a flash of color far too close for comfort startled him, and he messily jammed the cobweb to his fur in surprise. Fawnsqueak braced for an impact that never came, peering to the disturbance with owlish eyes. Oh.. a kit, one of the new ones who he wasn't very familiar with. He wasn't even sure he knew its name. "It's, uh, fine," he replied and peered at the cobweb, swiftly scraping it off in sticky swipes of his paw. Tilting his head, he pointed out, "I don't think you actually ran into me." So... he was okay. No injuries to speak of. "Yeah, no. I'm seriously not going to tell Lionstorm anything." Fawnsqueak had been doing a good job of avoiding him recently, but he tried not to think about it. Missing his company was becoming bothersome.

He cleared his throat a little, shifted his weight, then settled on idly playing with the webs again. He imagined the kit would move on, probably the only way to win in this scenario.

Weaselpaw padded out into the clearing, her tail waving high in the air. She looked around the camp for a moment, searching for her mentor before making her way towards the warrior's den. The she-cat raised her head, opening her mouth to call out: "Creekrunner, are you there? Can we do some training?" Once she called for the warrior, she stepped back to wait for him to appear. It was time for her to do training, she was tired of laying around doing nothing, she wanted to do somethong good for the Clan!

Coastpaw followed Sassafrasfire into camp, looking relieved once again to be completely home. He had almost forgotten how comfortable life with the clan had been - how safe it felt to be in camp with familiar faces. Now he just hoped Lionstar would accept him back - he'd take any punishment for his stupid actions if it meant he could stay once again. His blue orbs looked around the golden leader as they called for him, feeling antsy and a bit nervous now that the time had finally come for him to speak with Lionstar.

Her diluted tortie pelt stuck out from amongst the bickering cats, she spoke softly until her name was called, her head popped up with yellow eyes ticking to see who it was. "Oh, it's you Grizzlybug!" The queen rushed over noticing the warrior noting a new face right behind them. "And who's this? Welcome, welcome!" she greeted cheerily with a smile. "It's always nice to have a new face here."

Creekrunner slid out of the warrior’s den with a yawn and plopped down before Weaselpaw, raiding a paw to his tongue so he could clean his whiskers. “Sure,” he offered with a smile, moving his paw to rub at his eyes. “What do you feel like learning today?” Creekrunner didn’t mind being woken up- he was looking forward to training Weaselpaw and spending some time with his new apprentice. He didn’t know much about her, but it would be nice to be able to be friends with the other feline- once he was no longer her mentor. Shaking out his fur to wake himself up, Creekrunner hopped to his paws with flashing eyes and prepared his dozy muscles for a run.

Grizzlybug smiled when Sugarapple appeared and purred teasingly, “how’s my favorite queen in the nursery?” He threw in a wink and a laugh; his favorite hobby around the nursery was to fake flirt with the queens. He was openly gay so they all obviously knew that he wasn’t serious, but it was silly and a great way to make friends! The fluffy warrior stepped a bit to the side to give Bean the spotlight and waited for the kit to answer for himself, not wanting to take awau his first introduction to Sugarapple.

"Alright, then." Lightstreak turned and padded towards who she thought was Flyfur. "Hello, I am Lightstreak, and this is Owlpaw. Are you Flyfur?"

Bean waited patiently as Grizzlybug and Sugarapple greeted each other. Everyone seemed so friendly here, it was nice! He watched the interaction with a smile. The optimism and goofiness that Grizz displayed was infectious. Unlike the last few times, Bean was more confident with his introduction. "My name’s Bean!" He crept closer to the queen, sure that she wasn’t going to do anything to him. The siamese smiled at her, saying, "Grizz told me you’re going to take care of me." any cat that Grizzlybug trusted, he would trust.
