this is taking place after the fall of beacon and all the way to volume 6 following the journies of our characters . What dangers and discoveries they find .


Chapter 1
The boy who cried wolf ( Aesops fairytale )

Lyca and team HZEL make their way out of the forest and find a little settlement only to come across a new type of Grimm that indeed resembles the very creature and a new character or two.

Lyca moved through the brush silently, looking back occasionally to see if her companion, Hazel, was following. She looked ahead of her, hearing footsteps she wasn't sure that were her own. her hazel eyes were trained on the path they had been following. The scent of grimm was pretty strong here, but stale, a few days old at least. She stopped to look at some tracks, made by a stray beowolf.

It was a large one, but not an alpha's track. Lyca picked up a newer scent. Motor oil. Why someone would want to use such a noisy vehicle in a grimm infested forest was beyond her. "We may run into a stray Beowolf." She said and stood up.

Hazel flicked his brown wolf ears as he heard Lyca speak , his crimson eye narrowing into a small glare , stray?, the 17 year old crossed his arms which allowed the cape like tan trench coats bottom half to make a swishing like movement back and forth "there's no such thing as a stray beowolf. They act on their own accord , or , by an alpha . And or Salem . " he spoke his voice a mixture between Adams and ghiras but harboring a rough gutteral German accent . The other side of his face was ruined beyond repair but unlike the infamous whitefang leader he didn't bother using a mask. Zhong on the other hand rolled his blue green eyes "it's a possibility Hazel. Even the spirits know that . " he said his black hair was tied up in a pony tail while he wore a dark red tailcoat that had a emerald green bat symbol on the right side of his chest . Zhong looked back at Lyca and held his arms behind his back " where do you think it could have gone? " he asked .

She focused on the scent. Inhaling deeply, she got a fresh whiff of the scent she had trailed with her mind. Opening her eyes, she glanced back at Zhong. "It's following the scent of gasoline and smoke left behind by someone. Premium diesel smells like." She blinked. "It has a few miles between our location and theirs most likely. so unless it stops, we'll be good." She said and nodded towards the group behind her.

As they kept walking, Lyca kept wary, her ruby wolf ears flicking this way and that, and her hazel eyes darting about. She Didn't speak at all when they set up camp, just kept on acting like something would sneak up on them at any moment. Lyca didn't know why she was acting like this. The wolf faunus had wandered off after setting up camp. "Lyca, snap out of it!" she whisper-yelled at herself, "You said it would be fine. It will be fine." But the little nagging thought in her head thought differently. 'What if you were wrong? What if it snuck up on you while you were sleeping and killed everyone. Then who's fault is that?' She shook her head, and then curled up, the smell of food starting to entice her.

(ugh that was prolly really bad.)

Eir was checking her bag that she had always carried along with her , it's contents were naturally medical and herbal remedies . However she frowned when she noticed that it was half or possibly below half empty , the lavender haired girls Violet eyes darted around the camp and noticed that Lyca was gone......her eyes widened at that but instead of alerting and alarming everyone , she decided to play it cool. She stood up after she closed her bag and three it over her shoulders only to announce "I'm going herb hunting guys , Zhong , Lif watch camp ok?" she said only for the two to nod in their sitting positions . Hazel however was fast asleep since he hasn't been able to in the past two days because of their journey to who knows where .

Eir was just casually walking in the woods but made sure to keep an eye out for both her precious herbs and her friend , she has thankfully managed to find some burdock root and Comfrey but sadly she was far from done. To keep herself calm she hummed a celtic like tune only to stop dead in her tracks once she spotted Lyca....and instantly her protective side took over which only made her dash over to the girl . "Lyca what's wrong ? If it's your stomach I'm afraid I'm all out of chervil....." she said as she stood beside the girl .

The white haired faunus looked at her friend. "I dont want to get this wrong. I've gained a lot of good friends, and I dont want to lose them."

She took off her locket and popped it open. Her family, her brother without a wolf ear and eye on one side, almost just like Hazel. "My brother got his ear and eye ripped off because I got something wrong." She had started crying.

Eir furrowed her eyebrows at this as she looked at the lockets picture , she was for once at loss as to what to say . She had faith in Lyca she never lead them a stray before ....she exhailed "it'll be ok. Like my mother always said, it's better to be prepared, than to not be at all. You'll be fine, we will be fine. Besides , Zhong and Lif are guarding the camp " she said. Only to fiddle with her bag "although I would like to return to herb hunting ....mind joining me? We'll only be gone for just a spell" she added.

She nodded and got up, smiling blearily at Eir. She wiped her eyes and softly repeated her friends words to comfort. "What do you need?" She asked the lavender haired teen. The short 16 year old looked up at her and smiled her usual sharp toothed grin.

She sniffed out some thyme and chervil, picking some of the stems at the base. The leaves went into her friend's hands.

she gave a small thankful laugh " Thyme was one of them....and it looks like we may need it in the near future . " with that she placed the leaves in her bag "we need some juniper berries it gives strength as well as calming and soothing bellyache, but it's better to have many with the same uses rather than to have one and run out no? Horsetail , it treats infections and stops bleeding . Goatweed for easing grief , feverfew , fennel....oh! And Daisies.... " she listed only to scratch the back of her neck. ... "my apologies I didn't realize how many I usually carry....I'll find Goatweed and the other two mind searching for juniper berries?" she asked .

She sniffed out an odd herb, it had a strong minty scent and it had a lot of leaves on it. However, someone else had sniffed it out as well...

She pulled out her rifle and wheeled around to face the source of a growl. And boy was it big. The biggest ursa she had ever seen was standing right in front of her and she gasped. "URSA!!" She screed and ran with it on her tail. Shooting off multiple rounds at a time at the ursa, she dashed through the forest, staying clear of the camp and eir, but hoped they heard her.
