Her ears were flat, her body was aching. It was quite clear that she was getting rather very old. The elderly mare sat down, letting out a soft wheeze, she went ahead and looked up at the cloudy sky, remembering the first day she flew down onto the ground, and ran off from home..it was such an experience. Now, she was back at home..at where she truly belonged. Lying down on a small, sunny clearing. It felt just as when she was a young adult. When she had the energy to run and fly and mostly do anything! Now, it felt like her time upon Equestria was almost over, it felt..like her life was soon going to end in a way she wouldn't like it.

Shaded Mint had just taken a trip to the bookstore. Ugh, book selection was too limited and tourists were everywhere! There was always a massive crowd of council of friendship fans. She was saving up to move to Canterlot, as she had just about become an adult. She had a little way to go. She could already afford a nice apartment but she wanted to be secure. The teal unicorn was carrying a large pile of books with her magic. Until she tripped on a rock. She faceplanted into the ground, the books flying everywhere. An sourceress dropping books, how embarrassing.
