Ghost nodded, panicking slightly. She ran over to the front of the herd, and once she was in front of them, she growled fiercely, barking as they skidded to a halt. Instead of trampling her and the others, they changed direction, speeding away.

Thorn turned his ear as pochi got up" its ok we all make mistakes" he replied turning his head" great job on the deer's" he barked wagging his tail slightly" we'll keep our nose up in case the herd is nearby again" he said to his pack members

Ghost couldn’t stop her own tail from wagging a little. “Of course,” she nodded, watching the forest, as though the deer would emerge from it any second.

Pochi sat up and took a breather, he had caused a failed hunt that could have a costly problem with the pack. He felt terrible... . He kept his ears and nose in the game for any sign of the deer, but he was sure they were long gone.

Thorn flicked his ears as pochi took a breather" Pochi why don't you take this vole back to camp and see the healer to make sure you didn't get hurt, and ghost you and i can track the herd down" his voice was calming and kind
