Backstory
adderkit was born along with his single sibling, whisperkit. their parents, who had abandoned them as newborns, are rogues ( npcs, names are starstruck and arachnid- starstruck being the mother, and arachnid being the father ) that travel across the forest. often straying into territory but never being caught.
the litter, in question- was an accident. arachnid never wanted them.
starstruck was a pristine, gentle she, but arachnid was a mean, abusive father and mate. he would often dig holes for the newborns to sleep so he wouldn’t hear them cry at night. arachnid was an extreme deadbeat and never intended to do anything with his children ; especially adderkit. he saw him as weak ; none of his bloodline were weak. his family tree came from strong, fighting warriors ; not ones that begged to eat and cried when hit. he was used to that, why wasn’t he? he was being more gentle than his parents, adderkit should be grateful!
Arachnid:
arachnid is a completely black tom with lighter gray stripes. ( black bengal ) with copper eyes. He gets his abusive tendencies from his parents (npcs), skeleton and jasmine, who jasmine was a petty housekitty and skeleton was a “rough and tough” rogue who supposedly “played beside the gorge” for fun. He is obsessed with his mate, starstruck, and will ( and has) kill anyone for her, whether she didn’t want him to, or not. He’d go ways he doesn’t have to, to ensure she stays with him. He never wanted kits. Kits took away her attention. He thrived off of her attention. He needed it. He thinks he’s just misunderstood.. He loves his mate, isn’t that one good thing?
Starstruck:
She’s extremely good-hearted. She doesn’t mean any harm, not like arachnid does.. But she tries her best.
She often dug her children out of the hole their father threw them into. Out of kindness.
