Non-Rom Relationship of the Month (February 2019)

Non-Rom Relationship of the Month is for the recognition of the non-romantic relationship between cats.

Please ensure you have read this thread thoroughly, as posts that do not coincide with the provided information will be deleted.

In an attempt to prevent users from only voting selectively, the system in which OTMs are decided has changed. You may suggest a relationship, however the characters you nominate can not be suggested by another user. For example, if you suggest "Brackenleg and Eaglepaw", no one else can nominate that relationship for the remainder of the month's nomination period.

At the end of the month, users can vote on the nominated relationships and the winner will be determined by who has the most.

Nominations will run from February 1st to February 20th. On February 21st, users can vote on the nomination they like the best.
Please note this is a test run, and we may revert to the 'nominations only' method if it's apparent users are brigade voting (e.g. voting for a relationship that has a lot of votes for only that reason.)

Things to keep in mind before nominating a relationship:

• Characters should have been roleplayed within the last two weeks of being nominated.
  
  
• You may not nominate your own relationship, or advertise your relationship to gain nominations.
  
  
• Characters used to violate a roleplay rule can not win an OTM for the month they broke the guideline.
  
  
• Nominations must include an explanation of why the relationship deserves recognition. Posts that do not provide a reasoning will be removed.
  
  
• Be thorough in your evaluation of the relationship. Vague or thoughtless statements (e.g. "they're cool") will result in your nomination being discarded.
  
  
• You may only nominate once, however you may change your nomination at any time provided nominations are still open. Keep in mind you can not change your suggestion to a relationship that was nominated by someone else.
  
  
• You are only allotted one vote due to the poll system, so please use it wisely.
  
  
• Previous NRROTMs can not be nominated.

Reason for nominating this relationship
Honestly, Auroraflame has been deputy for a long time. This is evident in the roleplays between Aurora and Grouse. The characters have built a bond over a long period of time, and it’s touching to see them try to tebuild that bond after the war. Overall, their interactions really hit you in the feels. <3

Reason for nominating this relationship [required]: These two are cute together, exuding youthful innocence as they play in the territory and get into mischief like any apprentices that age would. There's drama, there's action, but overall they're just adorable.

Reason for nominating this relationship: You can't help but feel sorry for Jaytail! She's a single mother trying to reign in a rambunctious young son, and while it's clear they both love each other, it's evident their personalities clash when Jaytail attempts to keep him in line as he disrespects warriors.

Reason for nominating this relationship [required]: The dynamic of Firehawk and Cedarpaw is amazing. When Cedarpaw is hard-headed Firehawk is unpredictable. When Cedarpaw is being naive Firehawk is protective and patient with him. They really stick to their roles and it’s just great to see them interact.

Reason for nominating this relationship: Yeah these guys. I love reading their reactions. The two of them don't quite trust each other and it appears their both just trying to see if they can use the other but that relation is so interesting. Thrush being a reincarnated warrior and Hannibal having a past with the Clans makes a difference prospective for them. And all the things they know but do t say is so interesting. Really I don't see them being close but they would and could be a very interesting pare of friends.

Reason for nominating this relationship: these two are just the cutest mentor and apprentice. Minkpaw is so funny in the way she interacts with Flint, Flintspirit wants to do his best for her and it’s the cutest thing to read they are so fun together and it really makes you want to keep reading and see where their relationship goes.

Reason for nominating this relationship [required]: I love playful relationships, which is exactly how these two are. They're very playful and joke with each other and the relationship doesn't seem forced. It's just a natural relationship through each post.

Reason for nominating this relationship [required]: Seeing how Daydream acts around their new apprentice after the sudden dissapearance of Flashpaw, and seeing their relationship grow and evolve is a sight to behold. Goosepaw's cheery attitude mixing with Daydream's more serious undertone is a cup of quality drama, though they still manage to get along nicely.
