Character of the Month (May 2019)

Character of the Month is designed to feature characters who deserve recognition.

Please ensure you have read this thread thoroughly, as posts that do not coincide with the provided information will be deleted.

In an attempt to prevent users from only voting selectively, the system in which OTMs are decided has changed. You may suggest a character, however, the character you nominate can not be suggested by another user. For example, if you suggest "Blackstrike", no one else can nominate that character for the remainder of the month's nomination period.

At the end of the month, users can vote on the nominated characters and the winner will be determined by a random name picker run by staff.

Things to keep in mind before nominating a character:

• Characters should have been roleplayed within the last two weeks of being nominated.
  
  
• You may not nominate your own characters, or advertise your characters to gain nominations.
  
  
• Characters used to violate a roleplay rule cannot win an OTM for the month they broke the guideline.
  
  
• Nominations must include an explanation of why the character deserves recognition. Posts that do not provide a reasoning will be removed.
  
  
• Be thorough in your evaluation of the relationship. Vague or thoughtless statements (e.g. "they're cool") will result in your nomination being discarded.
  
  
• You may only nominate once, however you may change your nomination at any time provided nominations are still open. Keep in mind you can not change your suggestion to a character that was nominated by someone else.
  
  
• You are only allotted one vote due to the poll system, so please use it wisely.
  
  
• Previous COTMs can not be nominated. Former winners are:

I have had the honor to roleplay with Fuzzy and her Windclan Deputy Buttercupbreeze. Buttercup have shown to be compassionate clanmate to broken OC's but also hard. She knows what needs to be done and gets angry when she isn't listened to but this isn't out of just anger. It is out of fear for them making the same mistakes that she has made, she doesn't want others to experience the pain that she had experienced. Buttercup have lost and she has gained and she has lost again, her tale is not one of happiness but one on how to live with your shadows, your flaws, your mistakes. It is about how to regain power when you feel like you've lost everything and because of all this you pick up from Buttercup's character, I feel like that's why she needs to be this months COTM

Reason for nominating this character: Beepaw is just such an adorable character! Rosemew does an amazing job of really selling his character and making him seem really realistic. He's snarky, immature, and bold, but at the same time an extremely lovable character despite having personality traits that could make him unlikable. His personality is just so big and so full of potential.

I’ve roleplayed with Moonpaw for a bit, and I absolutely adore the character development going on! I’m both her attitude and her meek moments, the way Gem presents Moonpaw is impeccable, and I can’t wait to see more. <3

Reason for nominating this character:
I've had the privilege to RP with this character more then once and I just have to say he's realistic. Fawnpaw is a realistic character that struggles with problems that a lot of people struggle with in real life. He's struggling with insomnia which I myself have experienced so he's a relatable character. Though that's not the only reason I like him so much. How Dipper shows him off I feel like he's real, how he talks and acts it's as if your watching a real person through the screen. Not only is he RPed astonishingly well his personality is so fun. Fawn has his ups and downs as everyone should and even reading through the RPs he's in is very enjoyable. You can tell he's had plenty of development and a lot of thought in his character to make him how he is. I think he should be recognized for that.

Reason for nominating this character [required]: Flintspirt is such a lovable character! I've had some time to roleplay with Redhead, and while this roleplay hasn't been super long and all, it's certainly been interesting. Flintspirit's bio is super detailed and I just love how much time and effort has been poured into his character; he's so fascinating.
