Poppy patches are ‘blazed’ upon

Blazeclaw sighed and padded out in the clearing he looked around sadly.
As he saw kits playing and mates smiling at each other he felt lonely...
Everyone had a mate everyone seemed happy. Well that’s what he though. He would have kits well by now they would be almost warriors. He shook his head sadly and then grabbed a trout.
He went over to a corner of the camp and set the trout down he sat there. He then slowly took a bite in the trout.

The faded white and ginger tabby exited the warriors' den, the warmth of the sun seeping into her long fur and filling her with a sense of calm. She was ready to tackle another day of being lonely. Poppypatch was totally used to it by now. She was fully prepared to live out the rest of her life alone. At this point she wondered why she just wasn't a loner or rogue. Or maybe even a kittypet... at least she would have a twoleg to keep her company.

Disgusted with herself for even daring to think about being a kittypet, she gave her head a slight shake and padded toward the fresh-kill pile. The aroma of fish engulfed her nostrils and made her mouth water. She wouldn't get delicacies like trout if she were a kittypet.

At the thought of trout, she glanced over to the corner of the camp and saw Blazeclaw lying by himself and tucking into a rather large fish. She wasn't one to approach another cat, hence why she had nothing more than her RiverClan acquaintances, but she was feeling compelled to speak to him. The tom looked a bit melancholy and seemed like he could use a chat.

Poppypatch approached him, the smallest bit of apprehension tugging at her. She ignored the feeling and pushed it aside.

"How's the fish this morning, Blazeclaw?" She tried to sound enthusiastic but struggled a bit. Her social anxiety was quickly creeping up and she again had to push the feeling aside. If she wanted friends - or something more - she would have to overcome herself.

He glances of to the sun and then heats a meow behind him.
A she-cat a pretty one by all means.

? Was that her name? He thought so.
The name fitted her of course when she asked how the fish was he pushed it towards her,

Lovely Poppypatch why don’t you try some?

He smiled at her trying to seem normal and friendly he didn’t want her to be nervous of course that would be bad.

He licked his orange and white pelt the one that looked so much like his sisters and then stared at her his green eyes gleaming,
