Saltpaw almost fully submerged his body into the water and proceeded to try the move. To his surprise- it seemed he had got it! "Th- thank you,," Now the tom awaited further directions.

As the younger she cat had tried to attack her paws frostfeather had dodged quickly, her paws sliding through the water with ease. Her favorite training had always been in the water so it was no surprise that at the moment it seemed she had the upper hand.

“That was a good attempt, you almost had me!”

Shifting her legs in the water she positioned herself infront of amberpaw.

“Alright here I go!” she said with a gleam in her eyes.

She stood still for a second, before diving under and swiping at Amberpaws legs. She managed to pull the apprentices paw from underneath her, making the smaller she cat buckle. She had managed it but barley, her attack had been to far to the right.

Coming back for air she gave her self a shake and smiled at Amberpaw. “Sorry about that” she offered.

Streampelt felt himself go underwater as Wolfsong's blow succeeded. He got his head back abovewater and took a gulp of air. He looked at Wolfsong. "I'm fine. I was prepared anyway. Nice move." He meowed.

The first move had gone over about... as well as Kestrelstar would've expected. To him, it didn't really matter if the moves landed or not, as he expected each cat to treat this as if it were a real battle - with the exception of not using their claws. Just seeing that a majority of RiverClan really wanted to train and get better... it warmed the little ice block of a heart in his chest.

Coming to a half beside Vinepaw and Stonewing, Kestrelstar let out a hiss. "I understand this is combat training, however I expect that you'll be keeping it to the moves I demonstrate from now on." Giving them both a stern glare, his yellow eyes hesitated on Vinepaw for a brief moment. "Make sure you get low to the ground, and strike fast like you're catching fish," he instructed, flicking his ear before padding away.

And who was that... oh, two newcomers. "Willowvine [ @Cxndy_Fatal ]! Yellowpaw [ @Oakpaw1 ]! Good to see your naps haven't gotten the best of you - go ahead and pair up and get into the water, we're about to start our next set of moves." He gave them each a nod before returning to his place on the center of the island.

"Good, good, now that we've all gotten our fur wet," the leader purred as lifted his tail once more for attention, "let's try a similar move." The gray tabby crouched down, belly low to the ground. His muscles were tense as he waited for eyes to be on him. "You'll start underwater. Remain still, and after a few moments, you'll push up from the ground-" Kestrelstar pushed upwards on his paws, with his hind legs essentially becoming a spring as he shot upwards, "-and allow your hind legs to spring you out from the water!" Forepaws extended, the leader pretended to lock them around the neck of an imaginary warrior before landing. "You can use your front paws to either drag your enemy down, or give them a quick slash across the face - both of which will yield good results."

Stonewing growled after his leader had padded away, but he didn't say anything. Stupid moves, he thought and then let Vinepaw get up.

Streampelt listened to Kestrelstar explain the move and he saw as he demonstrated the move. He turned to Wolfsong. Taking a deep breath, he plunged underwater and waited a moment before springing back up and grabbing Wolfsong by the neck gently and dragged her down to the water.

She hissed as the move struck her, fluffing her black and white fur. Oh it was on! She would definitely land another move. @Kunaiskrill
