February Gathering

WHOOOAAAAA everything was so big and smelly!! Vixenpaw scrunched up her nose, shaking her head against the nasty smell. Yucky yucky yuck yuck! What was that? It was all mixed and fumbled and weird! And where was she supposed to sit? Was this like a super meeting? Who were all those other cats? So many questions, so little answers! Vixenpaw actually felt a little intimidated here, if only Turtykit could've been with her - but stinky was still on adventure (she lightly shook her head at that thought, in exasperation). Well in that case she at least got to settle with the next best thing:
"Batty!!"
Vixenpaw chirped excitedly, bounding over to her amazing mentor.
"Who are all these cats? Why does it smell weird? Where are we supposed to sit? What is this??"
Rapid fire questions shot from her mouth, likely while blocking part of the passage way, staring straight up at Batblood with curious round eyes. It was all so strange and exciting and kind of a little scary, she didn't know what to do!


[ @Spotty - Hope you don't mind! I wasn't certain whether Bat would be attending, but it felt only right for Vix to go with him -- if he isn't attending that's fine ofc!! She'll just cause her mischief else where hehe ]

Nightshiver arrived at the gathering, silently sitting down somewhere near the sides, tail tightly wrapping around her paws. These gatherings always made her a bit nervous. She took a deep breath to calm her rising nerves and silently watched on, trying to mentally prepare herself for whatever chaos was to come (oh, hopefully there wouldn't be any..).

Sootfur followed quietly Sparrowstar and Flameheart as the leader led the clan to the Seastones. Rain drizzled on his pelt and a light, cold breeze ruffled it. All my attempts to groom myself and keep the fur in order... ruined. He forced down a snort. The real reason he was so agitated was that the last Gathering he had managed to stir up quite some trouble on his own, and that had unnerved Sparrowstar enough. Now he almost winced at the leader's cold glance that she threw him as she warned her clan to behave better this time.

Sootfur also feared that Flameheart might feel uncomfortable with him after that event, especially while she assured Sparrowstar that she would be ready to escort out any trouble maker and deal with them. But he was so thankful (and relieved) when she looked at him with kind, affectionate eyes. Then, the excused herself for a moment and walked directly through the crowd toward a cat that was slightly familiar to Sootfur.

...Fallenstep? Yes, he was a Thunderclan warrior. And by the posture and tone of Flameheart's voice, he realized he must be the reason why the warrior had been so keen to reaffirm her duties for the night. Well, at least one of the reasons. The gray tabby still feared that she might want to keep an eye on him tonight, although he had really no intention of opening his mouth in front of everyone like last time.

No. He repeated to himself. This is a chance... to repair that "mistake". Tonight I just want us to relax and chat about the leaders' announcements. Yes, that was it. They were going to enjoy the evening together, and no Shadowclan cats will ruin their time.

As the clan scattered around, Sootfur chose a spot at the edge of the beach where there wasn't too much crowd - at least, they would be able to hear well each other's voice and hopefully no one would disturb them. Although he feared that her Keeper duties might take her away again. He pushed the thought away and sat down on a flat rock, saving some space for his mate. At least they wouldn't be sitting on the wet sand.
As his eyes spotted Flameheart leaving Fallenstep with an angry glare, he waved his tail at her and signaled her to join him.

Oriolepaw headed to the Seastones at the back of his Clan’s group. Large groups weren’t particularly his thing, but he knew he had to go to one more Gathering if he wanted to become a warrior. Of course, this Gathering just had to be in the rain. At least it was pretty warm!

As his Clan dispersed, the orange and black tom looked around somewhat nervously. He suddenly found himself longing for Blazingpaw, Sootfur, or… Quietpaw.

Swallowing his nervousness, he tried to look inviting so perhaps some other cat would come over and chat with him.

After that journey Amberpaw was quite tired. Though seemed like she wasn't for when she entered onto the beach she was filled with excitement. She was pretty much hopping around! Oh wait! She was hopping around. Seeing she was being quite unprofessional, she stopped hopping about and looked around. Wondering what apprentice or warrior she could talk too.

For the second time in a row, the Gathering has proven to be nothing but water coming from the heavens the Clans called Silverpelt. Her eyes wavered from cat to cat, watching for any sort of trouble. Having taken charge of ThunderClan for a little bit of time has taught her that trouble could come in many forms, whether a predator, a rival Clan, or one of their own who was far across the line. Sparrowstar's voice rang clear amongst the throng of warriors, apprentices, queens, and whoever else was attending the Gathering tonight in the representation of ThunderClan. It looked like they were the last to arrive, which wasn't surprising. At least no cat had gotten sidetracked or ran ahead- but, on second thought... that last part was not the case. "I'll be sure to keep a lookout for troublemakers in your stead, Sparrowstar. I'll be sure to carry out the punishment of your choosing too, so you can just focus on the announcements of the other leaders." she spoke to the tan and brown she-cat before turning her head to speak with her mate, casting him a soft glance.

"Hang on one moment, Sootfur." she murmured to her mate before splitting off from the group to talk to a Clanmate that had arrived long before the rest of the Clan, his scent catching her off guard. Though the rain had mostly washed off the scent by now, Flameheart could smell a slight bit more of RiverClan on her Clanmate's pelt than the other Clans. And it was not a sort of strong scent that could be gained from being on the outskirts of Seastones. "Fallenstep, care to explain why you're smelling particularly of RiverClan even though you are out here? Better yet- care to explain why you went to the Gathering ahead of our leader?" Straight to the point, simple, and short. That should be enough to get him to spill the truth, if not- well, Flameheart could send him back to ThunderClan camp for going against the general rule for leaders during the Gathering.

From her tone and looks, the young Keeper looked as if she was a grumpy elder. And to an extent, Flameheart felt like it too. Taking care of ThunderClan was no easy task and for that, she was grateful to experience what it felt like to be the leader for a day (or in Flameheart's specific case... four). Although it was tiring, seeing her Clanmates enjoy themselves was the only thing in the world that mattered to the young Keeper. And she was not too keen to see her Clanmates step out of line.

"I was looking forward to seeing a cat that I know. I passed by two RiverClanners. Believe me, it will not happen again." Fallenstep mews, and he bows his head in a sign of submission before he curses himself silently. He should have known not to walk ahead of the others - he's a Warrior for StarClan's sake! He should have not did that. But like he said, it will not happen again. He kind of hopes that he won't attend another meeting in a while, but if he wants to see his. . . friends. . . then he will have to.

Stormpaw moaned as he hated going to the beach on such a rainy sprinking whatever day, he looked back to see if blazepaw was following and appearantly he was the one to lag of course, he turned around grabbed blazepaws tail and led the way to the gathering, as they entered Stormpaw led blazepaw over to his friends" Hi cinderpaw hi peachpaw" he said. Peachpaw and cinderpaw smiled then looked at blazepaw"who's this" Peachpaw asked as they chatted,

after arriving in the gathering with stormpaws help and already being introduced to stormpaws friends, he sorta wondered off luckily not to far
