Lionstar didn't hesitate, springing forward at the queen to brush his head beneath her chin and against her chest. "Stars, darling, you don't need to apologize. I"m just happy you're back." He figured she left to get some air, to.. recompose herself after all that had happened.

The blood that ran cold in her veins of any punishment from her leader quickly flooded with relief. Her mind wasn't all put together but a soft smile brighten up her dejected face. Black lips fluttered the words, thank you. "Many thanks darlin', I'm just..glad to be back." Sugarapple hunched over position, straightened up along with a delightful purr. Her yellow eyes finally looked towards Lionstar."I don't know if the nursery still needs me but I swear I'll help out the best I can!"

"Why don't you get settled in?" Lionstar asked, bopping at her nose with a gentle affection. "The nursery is always in need of help, and I'm sure what queens we have would appreciate it. Oh--" Speaking of kits, that reminded him of something. "I think.. there's someone you might wanna talk to."

He left her side briefly to bound over to the mouth of his den, pelt puffing as he yowled. "Cherryflight, come in here for a moment!"

Cherryflight had stopped talking with her old friend greenheart and bounded over to his den she hesitated before stepping in, ”yes lionstar, is something wro-“ she stopped mid sentence her eyes wide with shock as she stared at the cat before her...sugarapple...

She kept silent she wasn’t sure if sugarapple even wanted to see her! She caused the queen, her own foster mother so much pain and grief! Cherryflights ears pinned back and...uh oh..she felt a lump rising in her throat again, “mom I- I mean sugarapple...I’m...” she couldn’t speak her mouth felt so dry!

Tinypaw thought the name Featheredpaw would be weird. He liked his name. He wore it well. Pus he liked being tiny. It gave his an advantage in battles. "Featheredpaw would be a weird name. I like Tinypaw better.", he meowed. Of course he wouldn't want to change anything His name was part of him. Plus it was better than his loner name Rascal. It reminded him too much of the cats who ditched him.

This all surprised the disheveled dilute tortieshell. Being turned every corner in the woods even at night the creatures of night terrified her, spiraling into hopelessness. Thank Starclan the river was familiar to her. A rush of happiness overloaded in her heart and her leader's affection was an icing on the cake. Lips tight, holding back from crying she dipped her head and watched him fetch someone.. Who could it be? Her mind wheel collapsed at even trying to remember faces and names now. Yellow eyes reflect confusion again until a cat hestiantly walked in.
Her face alone rushed some fragmented memories. "..Cherry..kit?" she murmured, eyes that were dark quickly lit up. Sugarapple bound towards the feline, nearly bopping nose with her until remembering the bad things. It wasn't her fault, she was a kit. After making such decision the senior queen always had a pang of guilt in her heart. I was the one who failed her. "Ah," giving a second look at her, she let out a nervous chuckle. "Ya ain't a kit anymore, that I can see." Sugarapple eyes remained soft and loving. "Look at ya, a powerful warrior.. I'm proud of you daughter of mine." Her purr was rusty, tired but it echoed the room filled with warmth.

Cherryflight was startled slightly by the affection, she hadn’t expected affection from the queen at all. She felt a whole whirl of emotions, as she smiled and tried to hold back tears. ”n-nope, I’m..cherryflight now!” she stuttered with a giggle, she had gone through so much pain and suffering just to get to this moment...just to be this happy!

The russet molly made a small but quick motion forward and hugged the queen she had missed so much, she started sobbing softly..”I’m so sorry sugarapple...! I caused you so much pain and grief! I wish I could make it up to you or just make it better!” She Regretted everything she did as a kit...she lost everyone because she was a foolish kit, how was she going to fix everything?!

Owlflight raced into the den, blood on the ground where he stepped. He gasped, and let out a yowl of pain. "Lionstar!" the dark brown tom cried. "I was...taking a walk...patrolling, kinda...and I ran into some...rouges. I tried to make them...run...but they tried to...kill me. I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry." Owlflight tried to talk again, but he choked, and then coughed.

"Lionstar...these rouges...I think they might be a...problem." Owlflight took a deep breath and sat up. "With...your permission...I want to lead...a patrol there...maybe with the rest of the camp...guards." Should he add oncehegotbetter? Nope, he needed...revenge. Owlflight thought of all the kits, the apprentices...everyone else who needed defending. This is why I signed up for being a Camp Guard. "And after...I lead...the patrol, may I...start training more apprentices...training sessions....swimming stuff...everything."

In a flash, Lionstar's muzzle twisted into something of anger and disgust.

He was on his paws in a heartbeat, teeth bared and pelt more bristly than a porcupine. "DO NOT CONSIDER cannibalism in my Clan! Get out of my sight, kit, and if I see or hear one word of you going through with that disgusting idea I'll have you chucked over the sea cliffs so fa, the shore won't be within your sights! GET OUT."

Needless to say, any enjoyment he had in her presence was killed by her horrific interests. He was starting to wish they had left her with her mother. It'd save him a headache, at least.

Admittedly, Lionstar was a little awkward with the family reunion and inched to move toward the mouth of his den. "I'll let you two get acquainted again," he said with a short wave of his tail. "Sugarapple, let me know if you need any help settling back in."

And then he was gone.
