Hickoryblaze hissed angrily, eyes narrowing at the toms negligence. Who does he think he is? Doesn't he know that this is clan territory? I mean, our scent is EVERYWHERE. He inspected the tom quietly, noting his muddy pelt and fearful eyes. Good. He's would be easier to take care of. He felt his heart swell with pride at Dawnpaw's statement. He admired her use of language at times. What an apprentice. Dropping the rabbit from his jaws, he padded over to the tom.
"This is clan territory. You've been hunting on our land."

Midnightstalker caught a whiff of the unknown scent. Hearing Wolftail's words, she becomes more alert. The muscles underneath her sleek pelt ripple as she spins around to face the strange cat coming at them. She fluffs up her fur and lets a warning growl to tell the outsider to stop right where they are. "You! What are you doing in my clan's territory?" She snarled the question at the molly. She had no clue who this cat was, Midnightstalker just had a habit of making some stuff sound personal.

Shadow skid to a halt many leaps away from the patrolling cats. This was the reaction she had been expecting. Dipping her head is what he had told was these clans way of respect, she looked past the three. "I have come like I was told. I am here to join the clan of open hills if you would allow it." As she confronted them, she prepared herself to defend herself upon an exclamation from the youngest of the three. @Skye @Undertaker @Whisker

"'Like you were told'? Who told you this?" Wolftail growled apprehensively. He wasn't fond of strangers. Prejudiced? Not really. Terrified? More like it.

Shadow nodded and forced her fur to lie flat. She was not an enemy to them but they did not know that yet. "Yes," she meowed quietly. "I was told by the old one to come here. He... he thought it was best and was meant to be. "
But should I tell them who 'the old one' is? Not even the wisest cat could describe him... he is meant to be seen and heard not spoken of.
Trying again, Shadow prepared herself to explain. "He... is another one of the put wanderers. A cat..." Undescibable. @Skye

Midnightstalker stared at the cat with suspicion. Normally she would have turned the cat away, but her clan was in need of more cats. Day after day cats went missing and although she didn't want to admit it she knew that her clan was the smallest. It would take time and effort, but they needed more future warriors. "I'm no good with all the questioning mumbo-jumbo and that answer of yours honestly makes no sense. But if you want to join you're going to have to talk to our leader." She told her. "You're going to have to give her a better answer than an 'old one' told you to come here." Her clan was desperate but not enough to take in a cat crazier than a fox in a fit. A weirdo cat told her to come here, it sounds strange and creepy. If Midnightstalker told Twilightstar that she was almost certain she'd be turned away. "Ya got a name, stranger?" She hissed still unfriendly.
