Slatestripe was relieved to hear that Pikestar was still alive. It wasn’t great that he was sick, but it didn’t sound lethal. Even though the warrior had some reservations about Gingerfrost as a deputy, he trusted the other tom enough to follow him loyally as temporary leader. He was unsure if he should volunteer for the new kit lessons, since he was quite busy keeping Autumnpaw and Mintpaw up to speed. He wanted both of them to be able to become warriors as soon as possible.

The honking that suddenly erupted from some cats in the crowd was quite… odd, but it certainly wasn’t the oddest thing Slatestripe had ever heard of.

Mintpaw observed silently the scene, Fawnpaw trying to calm everything down, and Slatestripe staring at her with an expression of relief. Her mind soon wandered away, and she wondered where Lilyleaf had gone to in the last days. It wasn't like her to go missing like this, but she thought that her mother wouldn't leave her without telling... Right? She wasn't totally sure.

Even though their relationship was a bit odd, she liked Lilyleaf. I hope she returns back safely, and soon. She stared blankly at empty space in front of her, imagining what would happen otherwise. Maybe I should tell Slatestripe...

Graytail chuckled and joined the Honkening, and then stopped when fawnpaw spoke. Hmm. At least Pikestar was okay.

NettleSting raised his head, listening boredly to the announcement. maybe I can get houndpaw off my paws for awhile his ear flicked as he sat down, eyes fixed to the cat(s?) on the streamstone.

houndpaw trotted over to the cat speaking, tilting his head. huh I guess I didn't notice the leader was sick houndpaw silently cursed himself for not paying attention to what was going on around him. I'm glad they're alright nonetheless he sat down silently, wrapping his tail around his paws for warmth.

featherspirit shook her head no "Not yet. I was going to talk to Pikestar but he is sick." she mews looking at her mate and was nervous still trying to figure out which cat to talk to
