"Yeah, thanks, I had a lot of fun." Buckpaw mewed, setting his mouse down in the fresh-kill pile. "I can't wait to tell Juniperberry about it!" Buckpaw mewed to Nightpaw proudly. "I should get going, I have something else I need to do." And with that Buckpaw disappeared out of sight.

Fizzlepaw wanted to go find flowers now? Instead of taking the first catch of his apprenticeship to Buckstar? Perhaps this little guy wasn't so bad after all... "Okay! Lets go... here, bury the prey here!" Scooting over to a patch of soil that didn't seem to have much snow layered over, he began to scoop dirt out with his paws. "Put it here and we'll cover it up and come back for it later - then I can take you to my flower spot!"

Glidingfeather was silent as she padded through the forest alongside Buckstar, large ears perked for any signs of prey or intruders. The former deputy said nothing, focusing only on the forest around her.

The fur along his spine and on his shoulders flattened again, and he offered Silverdust a wary smile. "No, you're fine, don't apologize. I'm just a bit on edge. Sorry." He scooped dirt over the hole and sat down as well, copying her. He was, admittedly, curious, if a bit concerned, and his ears tilted forward in a display of that. "I've got time. If you need to figure how, I don't mind waiting."

"Ok I just didn't mean to startle u." She looked at him and thought {silver u idiot tell him} She looked down at her paws. " Well everytime I see you or try to speak to you I get something stirring up." She started off. "Nothing bad ofcourse but it makes it hard to talk to you at first. Well I'm gonna come out and say it... I love you Buckstar. I get the flutters around you."

Ah. Well. This certainly wasn't what he had been expecting.

He blinked at her in silence for a couple of seconds, mind spinning. She... loved him. Like, for real? Real as in, definitely not a joke. Hmm. This was surprising, shocking even, and he had absolutely zero clue how to respond.

"Silverdust, I- I don't know what to say," he began awkwardly. "I mean, I'm flattered. Really. And I can tell that you're a great cat. But we've barely spoken at all, and I- I don't know that much about you, and... I don't feel the same way. I'm sorry." Oh, StarClan, he felt like the scum of the earth as he scuffed his paws over the dirt.

"Its ok buckstar I thank you for listening to me even if you don't feel the same way. I just hope star clan places the right paws to be at your side for you. It's ok as I know u don't know me every well its very ok." She looked at him. "No need to feel bad or shuffle your paws. I understand."

Thistlethorn hissed. The fox was becoming more aggressive with every second that went by. Now, it was throwing itself at trees, trying to remove the stubborn warrior on its back. He could feel his body become sore and bruised but refused to let go, no matter what. He had to protect the camp until backup arrived...
