Dawnflower padded into the territory. She sniffed the damp air for any signs of prey. She could smell a plump mouse near by. The calico she-cat crouched down into a hunting position. She put all her weight on her hine legs and pounced landing right on the mouse killing it with a forepaw. She berried it and continued to sniff out the place. Her ears twitched as she heard something coming form one of the near by bushes.

Sniffing, Plumstorm pads out of the underbrush. She'd planned to fish for a little while, but had a rude reminder of why she tended not to fish. Instead, she decided to try her luck on avian prey and had been about to really dedicate herself to the cause when she heard a familiar noise. Waving her tail in greeting to Dawnflower, the shield approaches. "Good morning," she says politely. "Good catch!"

Dawnflower relaxed her fur once she realized it was one of her clanmates. The calico waved back with her tail. "Good morning aswell. I've caught a mouse so far." The she-cat meowed in reply to her clanmate.

"Ah, so you've just begun," Plumstorm mews, the hint of a smile shadowing her face. "Mind if I join you? Well- Not at the hip, of course. Just for some company between catches?" She didn't want to intrude on the other warrior's alone time, if she'd been looking for some. StarClan knew Plumstorm took plenty of that. But StarClan also knew that the silver cat was in need of a friend or two. Dawnflower seemed like a pleasant enough cat.
