Willowkit lowered herself into a low crouch, her tail swinging wildly behind her. It was by no means a perfected croutch, but for a kit it wasn’t bad.

“Make sure your paws are underneath you! And when you move forwards go slowly!”

She crept forward, wobbling a bit to the side.

"O-okay..." Fiercekit said with a small little shudder in his voice from being shy.

He lowered himself into a crouch, his shoulders easing into position. He felt his balance begin to steady. He then remembered he did this when he was outside of the camp when he was still a loner before Moonstep adopted him. He then got the hang of it pretty quickly, and began to stalk towards Willowkit. But then, being a kit, he stumbled and fell onto his chest with a low thump.

(Sorry it took so long to reply. Its summer break for me and I'm busy now.)

He hummed in acknowledgment, finding that explained quite a bit. The tom didn’t want to be misunderstood, he did not consider his clanmate irritating- at the moment, at least-, but the… eccentricities Tripleaf displayed were quite obvious. Flintthroat could probably see why some would use that term, even if the warrior himself thought it to be a bit harsh.
The comment about teasing piqued his interest, though not in a great way, preparing himself to see whether the other tom would test the waters right then and there. Cocky or assertive were not great words to describe the dark grey tom, but he did tend to get a defensive streak if criticized, admittedly a tad sensitive on the inside; he could feel the tips of his ears warming at the concept of him snapping something childish back at Tripleaf simply poking fun.
Aside from Flintthroat’s new uneasiness around the other on account of how ominous that statement sounded, he responded with a typical level of politeness, as expected. “I’m sure lots of cats enjoy your company, it’d be a shame for everyone to judge based on first impressions.” The reply was half reminding himself to follow his own advice, truthfully, but it seemed to work. Best case scenario, Tripleaf would be able to tell the cat he was talking to wasn’t much of a fan of casual banter and friendly jabs.

If you don’t tell me where you’re going, I will tell somebody you are gone.” “Next, because I love secrets, I’m coming with you.” “Third, if anything violent happens, I will pick you up and run, and there is no fussing.”

However, some kits were slightly scared of her mangled leg, and she rarely had time to herself, between extra training, and being tormented by other apprentices. The russet molly padded into camp. She had a squirrel and a mouse in her jaws. She deposited them in the fresh-kill pile and chose a scrawny vole. She didn't need much food right now. She padded towards a nettle patch and began to eat her prey.

"What?" Runningkit was surprised.
What was the she-cat talking about? "If anything violent happens"? All Runningkit had been doing was running away from Smokenose.

The young she-cat was sitting in the clearing, just thinking about things. The visit from her dad,, the troubles with RiverClan,, - lack of herbs. .. It was all so much. We could be attacked by them any heartbeat now.., Especially with the more recent abundance of border conflicts, the added worries were piling. Iciclepaw looks over to the fresh-kill pile, then to the camp wall. Would it have been better if I stayed a warrior apprentice? ,,.
