WindClan: Life Before 2023's Fire

Sapphirekit shook herself awake from her deep nap. Quickly, she started bouncing around for two reasons: a. she liked bouncing around
and b. it got her adrenaline going.
Her paws were a bit sore, so she slowly began stretching them in the hopes of making them less sore. She began with a quick movement of her front right paw, which could have been mistakenly taken for a swipe. She then started on her left front paw, then her left back paw, and finally her right back paw. Feeling a bit more alive, she sat down.

She searched around the nursery for her best friend, Moonkit. Spotting her white and light gray fur in the midst of all the other kits' fur, she grinned.
She had gotten an idea. Slinking around the nursery, she tried to blend in her naturally gray fur with the other kits' fur so that Moonkit wouldn't see her. Slowly, she crept up behind Moonkit, and then, out of nowhere, she squealed. "Boo!" She looked at Moonkit for a reaction.

She let out a small yelp with her freind behind her, she whipped around lashing out a paw she smiled and laughed. Ah had been talking to her sister when Saphirekit has showed up behind her, so by no means she was she ready for this.
She gave a quick mew and looked at her she waved her tail in a quick greeting even though her greeting was really shoving a paw at her friend’s muzzle it didn’t really matter but quite honestly she just thought it was funny.

She yanked a chunk up moss off her nest and smiled, she looked up and hit the moss with her muzzle at Saphirekit with a smile, “So! Looks like you finally woke up.” She smirked at her, she had been wanting to play with her, she was happy to be with a real one of her friends

She hit the mossball back to Moonkit with her muzzle, and smiled. "You act like I slept for a day! Which, I did not, by the way!" She said, giggling. Sapphirekit was honestly enjoying herself in this conversation, and she was happy Moonkit was glad to have her awake. She's a great friend. Sapphire kit thought, grinning at Moonkit.

”Well you might as well have!” She smiled at her and hit the miss ball with her tail smiling she looked around happily clearly wanting to play another more active game next but moss ball was fun especialy because you can play in the nursery

"I wouldn't let you wait that long! That'd be torture for ME!" she said playfully. Sapphirekit attempted to hit the moss ball back to Moonkit, but instead of her hitting the moss ball, the moss ball bonked her on the head. She fell over laughing. She looked at Moonkit happily, and started to think up more games, since she had obviously failed at playing this one. "Wanna play something else?" She said in between giggles. Her eyes sparkled with delight as she waited for Moonkit's response.

"Okay!! I'll be the hare, since I know how much you love being the warrior." She studied Moonkit's expression and was delighted to find her Moonkit's blue eyes filled with excitement. It made her feel especially good inside that she was able to make her best friend feel good inside. She smiled at Moonkit.
