She remembered when she was just a simple outsider, named Thea, lost her first litter, stumbled into their territory and was granted access to live here. Just because she was accepted physically, did not mean she had been accepted mentally or happily by the surroundings cats. Not to even mention did the she cat ever thought she’d have kits by one of these absurd toms. If she was being honest with herself, Weaselshade grew on her. Like a parasite. She didn’t want him at first, but it looked like he was there to stay. Now? She was absolutely more than fine with that. It was almost comical to think that she found herself liking it. Of course, whenever she thought like that, it only made her uncomfortable and fidgety, therefore she would bury it all down.

Fawnfern was happy that their kits were apprentices. Goodness, wasn’t she so proud when their names were called? She was one of those proud mothers that puffed out her chest when her kits approached the next milestone in their lives; apprenticehood. As a queen, she suffered through the sheningians of those three rowdy kits, but to think Wesealshade was going to be mentoring his son? Woo! Fawnfern felt bad for him. She purred internally at the thought. She’d love to see them train together. Currently, since her duties as a queen was obviously over, she took her time in relaxing within tall swaying grass, keeping to herself as usual. She didn’t have a lot of friends, which wasn’t something she complained often about.

@Cosmo

Weaselshade padded out of the warriors den, and glanced at the apprentices den cautiously. Out of all the cats in WindClan, I'm mentoring Raccoonpaw! His son was not the ideal apprentice in anyway. Sure he wanted to learn, but more fighting than hunting. Not to mention he really bothered Weaselshade. It had seemed kind of funny when he was a kit, but now as an apprentice it really wasn't. He envied Lionsoar for getting Silhouettepaw as her apprentice. She may have had mood swings, but at least one of her moods was happy and nice! Raccoonpaw had a set personality. Grumpy and obnoxious. Also infuriating. Out of all his apprentices, as much as he hated to say it, Raccoonpaw was his least favorite. Since his son and apprentice didn't come out of the apprentices den, Weaselshade decided it was safe to go somewhere else where he wouldn't bother him.

He surveyed the clearing for someone he knew, and his gaze caught on Fawnfern. Just six or seven moons ago, he would have turned away from her and go to talk to any other cat, as long as it wasn't her. It didn't have anything to do with her heritage, just the way she acted. It had annoyed him so much, and still did sometimes. Weaselshade supposed that the she-cat and her little family had changed him for the better, though he was still extremely confused about everything. The caramel tom padded over to the molly's side, and sat down. "How are you?" He asked.

The funny thing was, she already caught his gaze when he was surveying the area. She had tried to lower her ears and shrink more into herself so he wouldn’t know that he caught her attention. Sometimes it still was hard for her to comprehend that Weaselshade and her were past that stage of...whatever they were. It was almost like they were finally friends, even if they had their moments where they argued a lot or just couldn’t stand each other. On good days, the tom was intriguing to talk to, and everyday Fawnfern found herself adoring him. Evidently, it didn’t work, shrinking into herself, because Weaselshade was still making himself over to her. She had discreetly groomed her pelt, making sure that, at most, she’d appear presentable and not like she just ran through a trail of fallen leaves.

“Oh, hi.” She greeted, softly, looking up at the tom as he sat down by her side. She flicked her tail, not minding the company. It was almost safe to say that his company was more than inviting. Moons ago, when she was the adoptive mother of Moth and Night, then she would had snapped on him. At that time, she couldn’t stand him. Let alone anybody that wasn’t a tiny kit. “I’m doing...fine, I suppose. You?” She shrugged lightheartedly. It was really one of those lazy day, in her days. Watching others whiz by without a care in the world. “No training with Raccoonpaw, huh?” Her whiskers twitched amusingly. He probably didn’t believe her when she used to complain about their tom kit, but now he was receiving the treatment himself.

@SuspiciousMindz

Crowmask poked his head into the leaders den. Because of how dark the den was,his face was barely visible because of the dark, mask like black fur covering his face. The deputy looked around for the leader, his blue eyes glowing in the gloom. After not hearing another warrior,he completely walked in,his eyes adjusting to the darkness.
He honestly did not know or care why Blazingstar had appointed him deputy. He was not going to question it though since it could help him and his plans. He had planned since after the 'incident' moons ago, but he had never expected such an opportunity to be thrown at him. Now was not the time for them to be put into action though. He would have to wait for a perfect opening. He did not mind though since he had waited for moons now anyway. A few more would not hurt.
The deputy pushed away his thoughts, reminding himself why he was here. He needed to find out the leaders plans for Riverclan so warriors would quit pestering him about what the leader would do. He had answered all of them with what he thought Blazingstar would do, but he had always told them he was not entirely sure. Because of this, they always came back, asking again and again if he knew what the leader's plans were. Crowmask was tired of it, and he wanted the answer for himself so that he could tell the warriors and they would let him have a second of peace. That was not the only reason he wanted to know though. He wanted to know if the war would be a good opportunity to put his moons of planning into action.

Dustwing liked to think that he was confident, and many times he was, but when it came to romantic attraction, he was a nervous wreck. He couldn't exactly call himself in love with the tom in front of him, but he thought that the tom was attractive, even 'cute'. He had always been pretty open about his sexuality, and while that had brought a lot of bullying, it made things a lot easier and he felt better when he didn't have to hide. The fact that the other cat had somewhat flirted with him, even if it was in an odd way, caught him by surprise. Really, he wouldn't have been so nervous if the tom hadn't said anything about attraction, even if it was a joke. Dustwing was the type of cat that was friendly with almost everyone, liked to help out, and loved to be a role model, and a knack for romance was nowhere in that list, so here he was, an emotional mess. When the raven colored warrior spoke again, Dustwing's eyes fluttered over to him, looking cautiously. "I- I wasn't... ugh. I meant that-" he closed his eyes and frowned, frustrated with his stumbling for words. "I wasn't 'bonkers', alright. I'm norm- fine. I'm fine." He opened his eyes and tactfully avoided the other cat's gaze, completely and utterly embarrassed. Suddenly one cat mentions the topic of attraction and he's stumbling over his words? He felt like he should be better at handling situations like this, but alas, he wasn't at all. When the black cat made the comment about his appearance, Dustwing chose not to respond, rather avoiding the other cat with his eyes. Normally he'd be able to joke around, saying something like 'you wish' or 'in your dreams', but he just wasn't able to say anything at the moment. He stared at the paw that moved in to nudge him, most likely meant to be playful. "W-weird? Are you serious? You know, that's not just something that someone chooses," he whipped his head around to face the other tom. When something was said that he highly disagreed with, there was no doubt he was going to jump in and defend it. "Maybe you can choose to be an insufferable prick, but other cats can't choose who they like, alright?" He shook his head slightly, holding the other cat's gaze, but their wasn't a firm passion behind his words like their normally was. He was still a bit unsteady, so there wasn't a sturdy foundation set before. He has thought about adding in that he himself was attracted to toms, but decided that it would be disclosing a bit too much information.

Having cooled down a little bit, he decided to pretend that his minor outburst had never happened. "Yes, rocks. What a fearsome oppenent," he said sarcastically, letting out a harsh laugh. Why was he so bitter at the moment? He wasn't sure what this tightness in his chest was, as he was always fairly sure of what he was doing, or at least acted like it fairly well. He sincerely hoped that he didn't have a crush on this tom, as it was unlikely to end well. Dustwing watched as the other cat's entire stance changed, was it the fact that he had asked his name? Was that really important to this cat, it wasn't like everyone in the clan was going to know him, right? That was impossible, and the clan was giant. He was beginning to wonder if the warrior opposite him had some sort of complex. "Yeah, I just... I don't know. Maybe I knew it at some point and forgot? I'm pretty sure I'd remember if I knew you, though," he said uncertainly, tilting his head. He was still a bit nervous, though he wasn't sure why. Was he really supposed to know this cat's name? He wasn't magical, it wasn't like he could just guess. "So what is your name, then?" He asked, leaning forward with a slightly annoyed expression on his face. He didn't want to be impatient, though, so he schooled his features into a cool curiosity. Not too curious, though. He wasn't sure if he wanted to keep associating with this cat, as he obviously wasn't the type of cat that he normally hung out with, but how was he supposed to broaden his horizons if he kept doing the same things. Besides, it couldn't hurt to just get things sorted out a little bit. He didn't even bother to answer when the other cat asked if he was getting back at him, he didn't feel like making a fool of himself again. He still was unsure of why he should know this cat, was he famous for something? There were a few well-known cats in the clan, but Dustwing certainly didn't remember all of their names, really he only remembered the names of cats he knew personally.

"Really?" Dustwing asked, unimpressed. If he didn't know the other cat's name, there was no way he could know his... unless he really did know him from somewhere and forgot? He hoped that wasn't the case. The tabby shook his head, laughing slightly as the raven cat tried to guess his name. Tigerpelt would've been the one that made the most sense, considering his pelt, but none of the ones the other cat guessed were correct. He found it a bit funny that he was so sure of himself that he figured he could just guess his name. "Pff, do I look like a rabbit that much," he snorted, smiling slightly. He was finding himself a bit entertained almost against his will. "Not Tigerpelt, either. I'm Dustwing, nice to meet you." He had said the last part sarcastically, but part of him wondered if he had really meant to say it sincerely. This is why he tried to avoid romance if possible. It wasn't that he didn't want a mate, he just had trouble expressing his love or gratitude. "If I had to guess, you'd be Raven- something? Maybe Night or Dark, I'm not sure," he said thoughtfully, still wondering exactly why he should know the other cat's name.

@Deranged Llama

A small kit, who hardly looked four moons old sat in the nursery. Her misty gray fur was neatly groomed and her glazed over green eyes foggy. She was twitching at every sound. Mistkit was six moons old, despite her small size, she hated being such a nervous kit.

Coonkit blinked his green eyes, still blurry with sleep, open and peered around his surroundings. The young tom was four moons, the time many kits decided it was time for a littlest adventure in life. However, he was a calm, serious kit, and oreferred to spend his time in dignified conversations in opposition to rough games of mossball or playing hunt-the-mouse. He flicked his tail and sat up, careful not to disturb his brother, Hollowkit, or their mother. The small tom caught the gaze of a small she-cat who was twitching every so often. Assuming it would Ben rude to walk away now, Coonkit padded over to her, his soft steps falling silently on the soft ground. "Hello," he meowed, a small smile curling up the edge of his mouth. "I'm Coonkit." His voice cracked on the double vowel, and he winced slightly. Ed, whoops.

Mistkit jumped her fur raised up and her jumped up and spun around to face Coonkit before nervously licking her shoulder and begining to settle down a little bit,” I-I’m Mistkit.” She stammered nervously. She knew it seemed rude her distrust, but she couldn’t help it. She felt guilty lacking trust.

Coonkit smiled, not bothered that she was nervous around him. He knew many cats took a while before the young got comfortable with another. He gave another warm smile, hoping to be friendly."Nice to meet you, Mistkit." He paused, licking a paw and drawing it over his ear. "So, how old are you?"

All the while Batspiral was just a little confused at the tom. Albeit, more amused with how the tom claimed he wasn't 'bonkers', but judging how he was reacting, Batspiral would assume that he was flying off the coop. His whiskers twitched mischievously, wondering if he ought mess with the furball some more, but decided not to. The cat before him embarrassed himself more than what Batspiral could had done. Truthfully, Batspiral was possibly the last tom that anyone could consider a role model. Let alone a good one. Unless a kit want to learn the way of being absorbed into one self, then sure, he was the model for that role. Despite, his natural capabilities to be a dunce every second of the day, Batspiral's intentions weren't meant to offend the tom before him, but he also didn't apologize for his words that was said. ''Insufferable prick? Goodness, I don't think you understand how hard it is to be me. I've been called a jerk, before, but you sure know how to hit home, dontcha?'' An obnoxious sounding laugh elicited from the raven-pelted tom. His words were genuine, though held with much conceitedness; Batspiral had the natural thought that it was such a hard thing being him. Out all the cats in the forest - in the entire world - he was the toughest tom to be. He wasn't kidding either! Which was insane, but quite as well delusional for him to be. ''Did I strike a nerve, bud? Trust me, I had no intent on offending you...of whatever you claim yourself to be.'' It wasn't like Batspiral was judging him. Batspiral was a cat that drowned in his own vain, but he wasn't judgmental to others. Heck, he barely found himself thinking of others. He was too absorbed into himself to care about how others perceived a situation. To be fair, Batspiral had to do a triple glance at the tom before him because judging by how defensive he came towards him, Batspiral could only assume something...off? confidential? secretive? Something about the other tom that he wasn't letting on. Batspiral didn't consider himself a deep thinker in certain situations. He usually went with the flow, and whatever happens; happens.

The tom had a right to be offended at first, but then it came Batspiral's turn to be quite offended at the obtrusive claim that emitted from his maw. Batspiral wasn't the one to easily get offended by others, unless it was regarding his looks, then yeah, he'd chew your head off like a rapid raccoon with rabies.His looks wasn't offended...but the fact that his name wasn't recalled? That was like a claw wound to the stomach...maybe even worst. He had stayed shell-shocked for a long time, staring at his company in vague curiosity, but his expression was one that voiced 'are you serious?' ''Where have you been, under a rock your entire life?'' Batspiral scoffed. A little dumb smirk crept ontO his maw, wholeheartedly believing that this tom was just jesting with him about not knowing his name. ''How can you just know it at one point and forget it the next?'' Batspiral questioned, his voice taking more of an accusing tone. At first, Batspiral assumed it was all one big joke, but as things started to settle...this tom really didn't know who he was. Batspiral was greatly beyond offended. ''Do I look like a tom that is easily forgotten? Hm?'' Batspiral did not easily like to draw himself into the background. He craved attention. It was pretty much a lifeline for him to be noticed. He preferred if he was bowed down to (like a king!) , but being respected was good enough, he supposed. ''You seriously don't know my name?'' Batspiral had leaned in just as much as the other tom did, mocking the same expression of a cool and collected curiosity on his features. If one looked too closely, then they could tell Batspiral was not up to any good. Per usual. ''Well then,'' He started, ''I guess, you'll just have to earn it.'' He decided, his tail swooping to the side, lifting a few leaves from the ground.

If Batspiral was getting on his nerves, it totally went over his head. As far as he was concerned, this tom must liked him already. As in, being in his company because he sure wasn't brushing past him to try and get away. Batspiral was just having a little bit of fun in all this, and one could tell with how his ears twitched excessively. Batspiral would definitely assume his name was Tigerpelt, or something equivalent to such. Maybe Lion? Panther? Jaguar? those could had been it, but Tiger seemed far more appropriate because of his stripes. Most cats were named based off on how they were described. Obviously, his mother named him 'Bat' because of his jet-back pelt. ''Awe, you sure do have such a cute bunny nose though...'' Batspiral's voice was a teasing croon - another true thing! Although, the tom sure did walk himself right into that trap. Even as he introduced himself the next moment. Dustwing? Batspiral had to throw his head back to laugh. Not intentionally making fun of his name, but in his yellow eyes, that name certainly didn't fit him at all. Tigerpelt was a lot better, but leave it to Batspiral to go off on his own beliefs instead of others, as if he owned the entire world. After a small moment, he had to clear his throat to, at least, be a little more serious. ''Dustwing? As in...Dust...and...wing? No, no , no - I'm not even gonna call you that. Doesn't seem fitting.'' Batspiral started, his tail maneuvered, using it to scratch under his chin, a habit when he was usually in thought of something devious. ''I think I like Bunnynose better. Fits you perfectly, dontcha think?'' He purred, probably just trying to get under his chin. It was totally another dig for this Dustwing to forget his name, thus forgetting who he was. Batspiral wasn't the perfect role model, but he liked to leave a mark on others. Whether it was good or bad. Soon as Dustwing started guessing his name, Batspiral couldn't help but bob his head from side to side, his playful nature was shining through, and with each guess he had to shake his head and say 'nope' purposely popping out the 'p'. Raven, Night, and Dark, sounded about right. Batspiral couldn't exactly berate him for the common stereotypical name to described a dark cat. He was still a bit high strung for the simple matter that Dustwing didn't know his name. Batspiral thought he already established a reputation for himself...which wasn't all the way true. As much as his mind liked to believe that he was the top dog in the clan. Well, in this case; cat. ''You're not even close, Bunnynose. Guess again.'' He teased. ''I'll give you a small hint. I'm named after the species that likes to live in dark caves...'' He winked.

Mistkit was a bit taken-back by his friendliness, but still was rather wary of him she nervously glanced at him,” I-I am s-s-six moons old.” She admited, she knew he wouldn’t believe her because she was small for her age, but she still was telling him the truth.
