- Turtlekit -
Reaching out her paw and grabbing the moss, Turtlekit played with it for a moment before rolling it towards her. She was still a bit weary about playing with a stranger, but Sunkit seemed fine with her stuttering, so she didn’t really mind.
“Wait w...when’s my apprentice ceremony?”, Turtlekit asked. She was super nervous about talking to her mentor, but other than that, it was something to be excited about. She would finally be one step closer becoming a warrior!
Cinderkit paused, deep in thought again. They were really chasing their tails in circles, huh? Her tail swept close to the floor as she came up with an idea.
"How 'bout.... how about we go and find daddy? I'm sure he's got a game we could play. Maybe he'd even join us!" She suggested, sparks dancing in her eyes. Sleethound was a warrior; he'd HAVE to know some good games to play!
Sunkit looked over to Whitewolf, still bounding up and down. She has a lot of energy, as you can see. Sunkit sighed thinking of her apprenticeship.
"I'm so excited, but it's so far away! It'll be moons yet, and I can't wait that long." she meowed. "I wish it was now."
For @Spoopy Eclipse (Turtlekit) For Lavender'fur (Sunkit)
Whitewolf eyed the mossball by Sunkit's feet. This game seemed to be a good distraction fro Turtlekit, who'd actually gotten to talking to one of her peers. It was the first time that had happened and Whitewolf was very proud of her.
"Six moons is not a long time," she told Sunkit. It was true that a lot of things could change over the course of a period like that, but also true that kithood was brief and precious. She couldn't assume Sunkit would take her Apprenticeship for granted, but it was natural for burnt out Apprentices to wish they could sleep in the nursery with their parent again and enjoy a nice day off. "I encourage you to embrace being a kit while you can. You only live that way once."
She then turned to Turtlekit, who seemed a bit alarmed about the possibility of being an Apprentice. That tracked; there were always a few kits who were scared about the advance.
"Soon. But I will do my best to ensure you are prepared for your Apprenticeship and I'm sure Sunkit would like to help you, too."

Elderkit blinked tilting his head. Maybe, but wouldn't be be busy doing... warrior stuff? Doing the stuff warriors did? Right? "Maybe? Wouldn't he be busy, though?" He asked, confused.
Revived! Emberpaw felt better than she had in a LONG time. First that contest of Whitewolf's, then Tawnybird's combat training -- not to mention finally meeting Ravenskip! Her patrol with Berry-what's-her-name had been a bust, stupid badgers, but other than that? Ember was on cloud nine.
Being so active didn't make her tired - it invigorated her! The little calico was already scanning the clearing for her next 'opportunity,' energy coursing through her like wisps of fire. Spotting Runningwater several fox-lengths away looking unoccupied, a wide smile crowded Emberpaw's face. Clearly Running had nothing better to do than entertain a kittypet-turned-apprentice, right?
Ember marched over to the warrior with tail swaying and mouth humming. "Hey! Are you busy right now?" The mischievous calico was ninety-nine percent sure she already knew the answer.

Ignoring the warriors gruff tone, Fawnpaw nodded and padded after Ravenskip enthusiastically. He was kinda used to most of the warriors being grumpy, and besides, this was his first border patrol!

Ravenskip
Ravenskip glared at Prowlingsun and Fawnpaw. "Hurry up," she growled, walking toward the camp exit. Her tail flicked impatiently as she led the patrol through the territory, walking as fast as her small paws could take her. Sure, they were on relatively good terms with WindClan, but that didn't mean they shouldn't check the border.
Nightpaw trotted into camp, a blackbird clutched in her jaws. After missing the squirrel, she had wandered around a bit without finding anything. She had stumbled upon a blackbird, making a nice leap to bring it down. After not detecting anymore scents, she had called it a day and returned to camp. She was proud to have caught anything after waiting as long as she did for Flyheart to show up. Which hadn't happened.
Nightpaw dropped her prey on the pile and padded over Tawnybird. "Sorry, I'm late," she began, dipping her head respectfully. "Flyheart, who was supposed to lead the hunt, never showed up, so I went by myself." She blinked anxiously up at the deputy, hoping that was the right decision.

Runningwater looked up and noticed Emberpaw. They smiled and giggled a little."Oh hiya Emberpaw. No not really. Just mostly perfecting my running in preparation for future battles. What's up?" Runningwater licked clean one of their paws and smiled slightly.

But it would be so much FUNNER being an apprentice, was the first thing that went through Sunkit's brain. I wouldn't be cooped up in Camp. And I would be bigger!
Sunkit spotted the mossball at her paws and immediately forgot about that train of thought. Smiling widely, she leapt onto the mossball as stealthily as a two-moon kit could manage, and then tossed it to Turtlekit again.
