Goosefury stood as his name was called and smiled wryly. Hunting patrol, eh? This should be fun. He quickly scanned the clearing for Bumblebelly but, not seeing the other tom, took up a spot next to the camp's opening to wait for him. Goosefury hadn't tried to hunt since he'd received his injuries - today's patrol would certainly prove to be an interesting experience. He was only glad his nose hadn't been effected during the attack, otherwise he would be totally useless.

Grizz has a loud voice so he trusted that to reach Beanpaw even in the apprentices den and chose to trot over to the entrance to wait. The other member of their patrol was a warrior so he didn’t bother patronizing the other cat by calling for them too.

Bumblebelly rolled out from the nursery, at the call of his name, shooting a sharp look at disappointment at the deputy, before making his way over. A break from the constant bickering of restless kittens would do him some good! The large tom strolled over, figuring out which one was Goosefury with ease -- he had the stories, after all...
"Excuse my lack of fishing skills! I'm good at catching amphibians, I'll admit." The warm chuckle rolled from the hearty giant as he approached the young warrior.

Berrypaw perked her ears up as she heard Sootflare begin calling out some patrols. She wasn't expecting to get on one this time, based on the fact that she'd gone on one in the last round, but she listened up just in case. And sure enough, she heard her name called for another border patrol. Oooh, another one? If the young molly had been keeping track of her training correctly, then this patrol should count as the last training she needed before her assessment. And boy was she ready for that to happen. Scanning the clearing for Shimmeringpool and Mistleap, the she jumped up and tapped her foot impatiently, eager to get going.

Goosefury watched the large tom approach, and stood to greet him. He caught the look of disappointment the black and yellow cat threw at Sootflare, but didn't ask. It was none of his business.
Goosefury's first instinct was to smile at his enthusiastic hunting partner, but the desire to do so faltered with Bumblebelly's words. It was replaced by a small frown that vanished quickly. "Amphibians?" he echoed. A small root of suspicion had planted itself in his belly. "That's an interesting skill to have. As far as I'm aware, only ShadowClan is taught how to hunt those creatures."
