For sure today was going to be a good day. Hopefully Goosefury wouldn't try to assault him with words... or claws. Though, another cat that he didn't know yet came trotting across the clearing, smiling wide. This intrigued him, and he looked down at the ginger and white she. Her choice of words were... odd but, it was cute. And being called a fellow clan-mate made him smile. "Hello, I'm doing fine. And no one yet has come to bother me. Though, I make sure to get you if they do." He smiled down at the apprentice, booping her on the nose with his tail. She definitely had confidence, which would be good in times to come. "May I ask what your name is?"

Goosefury watched the large tom approach, and stood to greet him. He caught the look of disappointment the black and yellow cat threw at Sootflare, but didn't ask. It was none of his business.
Goosefury's first instinct was to smile at his enthusiastic hunting partner, but the desire to do so faltered with Bumblebelly's words. It was replaced by a small frown that vanished quickly. "Amphibians?" he echoed. A small root of suspicion had planted itself in his belly. "That's an interesting skill to have. As far as I'm aware, only ShadowClan is taught how to hunt those creatures."

The accusation -- even if it were a fact -- stung like a hornet sting. He had thought by now his clanmates had grown to trust him, but of course there were always a few... bad apples. Perhaps bad wasn't the word? misunderstood, maybe?

"Well, I was raised there regrettably," He murmured with a gentle, tender voice that offered no negativity towards the other cat. Bumblebelly began to walk out, lowering his head in some attempt to appear less... Shadowclan-y in size. "As much as I would enjoy to say I've moved on, my tongue still craves the taste of frog. Maybe you could fetch us the fish and I could put my skills to better use on the land?" Bumblebelly chirped his words, leaving the camp.

"Ahh, no." Morningmeadow shook her head. "We went along the border, but we found pawprints and lots of... blood. We couldn't tell who it might have belonged to."

As frostkit wandered out of the nursery she had already started off bad by bumping into cats and other things. She continued to walk the sounds around her slightly overwhelming. Frostkit mewled in discomfort when she ran into a rock.

Scarfang looked the tom up and down. This cat had a purposeful air about him. Was this Frostfall's replacement? His ears flicked. "I believe I've walked into the right place. I'm Scarfang. I vanished a couple of moons ago and I uh... I'm coming back to hopefully reclaim my place as a RiverClan warrior. I apologize for leaving."
