Still paying attention to the water in hopes of another fish coming quickly despite the rather large splash, the watchful eyes from the shadows went unnoticed for a bit. They tried their best to like before not block the sunlight by leaning over the water too much- though it did seem it might be awhile.

Though, when a the figure of a rather large cat was heard approaching (with quite heavy pawsteps.. .), this time Copperfern did look up. While not immediately recognizing the golden furred molly, it did eventually click that this was Robinpaw. Skystar had given them a apprentice name around a few quarter-moon's ago- they were one of the new outsiders to join RiverClan.

And was rather shy too it seemed .. . they weren't going to complain, but it was just kinda awkward. Hopefully Robinpaw would preferably not be as slow with words as learning the way of the clan. Though said cat was asking, so that was good- I guess... "Yeah yeah,- it's not disrespectful too much, though if you want to get better at sneaking up on other cats or spying- I'd ask your mentor..," they meowed, perhaps sounding a little bit annoyed. While obviously not the answer most likely needed, and probably confusing Copperfern just wanted to get back to their fishing.

Which was promptly interrupted by a new figure joining the scene. Already telling this wasn't going to be a enjoyable interaction .. . Listing to the Minteye ramble about how the splash scared away fish, blah blah blah. Though they actually did kinda seem angry, judging by the ginger splotched warrior. Wait.. . they were rather young by the looks of it- why should a newer warrior be scolding me, geez!

"Listen- I get that this is ''oh such a big deal'' or something, but it's fish..! Fish!! Just stupid prey animals, that will come back soon enough. All you're jabbering won't help anyways! Why don't you find a different spot to hunt huh, instead of wasting time to bother me, that could be spent with your amazing fishing knowledge!" they hissed, now very very annoyed.. .

Great first impression to the new cat of course!

Saltpaw's eyes flicked from the trees to Morninglily's face, watching for any instructions given. It seemed that whats-his-face wouldn't be joining them, which was fine for the young molly. She didn't know him, so she didn't care all that much.

Oh! Words!! Saltpaw's eyes danced with glee as the warrior proposed a lesson. "Yes! Er- I mean- No, I haven't been taught, yes I would love to learn." Her paws thrummed with excitement. She hadn't caught anything yet, or even really tried - unless butterflies counted - so to be presented with such an opportunity practically had her skipping.

➢ “Yeah, Spiderpaw! Come sit next to me!” The black-and-white molly called to her companion with a friendly smile on her maw, before turning back to look up at the warrior shecat, “Woah.. That still sounds really cool. I hope I can catch a fish like that someday.” Cloudpaw was slowly trying to speak more calmly and not be too annoying to her friend or their temporary teacher. She laid down next to the stream, tucking her paws underneath herself for the moment as she watched the causal flow of the water. A small green leaf floated on by, spinning around on the surface. Cloudpaw watched it with a small tilt of her head. “It’s very pretty out here,” She murmured quietly, mostly to herself but Hazelstorm would most likely hear her since they were right beside each other. Since the fluffy youth was still just an apprentice, she didn’t get to go outside of camp that often. Outside was always more interesting to her and she liked experiencing all these new things.

Winterstorm caught a couple fish, some frogs, and then took them all to the fresh-kill pile. "Spiderpaw's annoying." she muttered.

She then decided to go to the borders to patrol, and set off, grumbling about how annoying the apprentices were. "Good thing I'm not a mentor."

cinderpaw looks around in the forest, she smiles seeing so many trees" wait ravenclaw isn't riverclan cats suppose to know how to swim?" she asks ravenclaw thinking that swimming is essential,

Streampaw looks over his shoulder at her. He slows down and walks beside her. "Don't blame him, okay?" He says quietly, looking at her blankly. "Ravenclaw has been occupied with his younger brother, who went missing. The two were close."
