Dawnpaw knew a bit of the baisics, but not uch, just keep body down tail down and of the ground, ice you need to have light feet, rabbits very very quiet, and always stay downwind from the prey.

Dawnpaw knew most of the baisics, Make sure to keep your body down tail off the ground but low not moving, and stay downwind.

“You have to crouch, make sure your belly doesnt drag.” He instructed. “Use your tail for balance” he demonstrated a good crouch. “You try.”

Dawnpaw copied him the bossible keeping her tail strait but loose and off the ground and she made sure her belly didn't touch the ground. She stood like that in wait for SoftShadow's instructions on what she would have to correct. @Kunaiskrill

Dawnpaw flattened her ears and focused on the leaf, pushed off with her back legs and landed squarly on the leaf. "How was that? Is there anything I need to work on?" Dawnpaw asked as she looked at her mentor.

“no” he said. “only a mouse brain would need to work on a pounce like that” he growled. “Try it on real prey now” he said. “When that’s done, You can go back to camp and get some fresh bedding for the elders”

Dawnpaw was surprised, but happy to here this, "Yes Softshadow!" She perked her ears in search of prey and lifted her nose ,"mouse!" she thought She looks around and crouched down once she saw it she crept forward until she was only about a tail length from the mouse, then pounced and bit its neck. "Should I catch another or go do the elders now?
