Elijah rolled his eyes at the first comment. Well at least you can admit it He said sincerely, it seemed that to him, that she was getting soft, changing, but he thought she might have always been this way, it's not like he knew her that well.

Elijah sighed inaudibly, as Lucy grabbed her skateboard, feeling he did something wrong. He would watch her leave, sitting there for hours after, just not wanting to go back to his house, or anywhere really, as if by sitting here he could just cease to exist.

Lucy leaned against the alley entrance, watching people pass by. Her fingers brushed against a blackened eye, and she winced. Why, did trouble always have to come to her, when she was actually was enjoying life for once? Whatever. It's heal.
