Charlie watched her breath billow out in clouds before her. She looked at Teddie, unsure of what to do. So she did nothing. She stood up, slowly making her way to the entrance of the cave. She rubbed her hands together to make them warmer... they would have been warmer if Jerald and Harold were still here... she closed her eyes, sitting on her knees in the snow.

Teddie woke up. She called Charlie over. "I... I feel... slightly... better... but can... you... please go... and find... food for... us...?" Teddie breathed, seeing her breath as she spoke. She had a plan.

Charlie saluted, and ran off into the woods. She came back moments later with a dead rabbit, a dead squirrel, and a stack of wood. She dropped the dead animals in front of Teddie, and then set down the wood. She pulled two minerals~ flint and steel~ out of her overall pockets. Charlie started a fire, and then flopped down next to it. Good thing she used to rough-it in the woods with her birth-dad.

After the glue dried, Teddie put the new sock puppets on her hands and hid her hands behind her back, and walked to Charlie. She had a smile on her face. "Hey, Charlie." She said, feeling her body silly arm up as she sat by the fire.

Charlie was happy. That made Teddie happy. She went back to the table to try and remake her mask. The snow fell quietly outside.
