Willowerose knew what he was telling her. She knew she had screwed up. She was different than before. She learned a few things. One was it should be starclan to decide when it was time for her to go and what life meant without that horrible mother she grew up with. The molly wanted cats to help her, but none of them seemed to want to. They allowed her to do it. "I understand everything. I know it will be hard for them, but it won't happen again. I know more than before what life means to any cat. Starclan brought me back to redo everything.", she meowed. Inside she was panicking. She had no ither home. Windclan never was good which was the reason why she left for Riverclan before. There was no life for her there. She meant every word she said. This time she would die an honorable death not a pathetic one. Maybe there was more for her now than there was before. "I'll try to do better if you gave me a chance. One chance is all I ask then you cab do with me whatever you feel. Please.", Willowrose added, fighting backtears. She wasn't going to cry. No that was not how this worked. If she didn't join she would just become a Rogue without a way around. She would never survive out there. Not like the father she tried to forget.

"pardon me sootstar, but I would like to go on a hunting party," Goldenheart said stepping into the leaders den "I am a new warrior, and I dont really know what to do." she was very uneasy about coming into the leaders den without permission.

Russetstrike padded up to the leader's den. Nervous and shocked. "Um.. Sootstar? Can I talk to you about something?"

Sootstar let out a heavy sigh and for a moment simply pondered the decision, remaining silent. He glanced her up and down and thought about what she had given him. A life. Not his first and certainly not his last but another chance all the same. At the very least he owed her another chance, didn't he?

"Very well," he replied, climbing to his paws, "I'll allow you back into the clan. Whether you decide to reintroduce yourself to the clan is entirely up to you but I will be treating you as a new arrival for now."

Again, he paused before continuing, "Would you like a new name to go with your new life?"

Sootstar raised his head as Russetstrike entered. He had a feeling he knew what this was going to be about but he wouldn't assume, just in case it was something else.

"Yes, Russetstrike?"

Willowrose was glad she was able to stay. She promised to never do anything stupid ever again. Well not on purpose at least. The molly thought it would be a good idea to just start fresh. Willowrose was a name of a distant past. One with a mistake. One she would never make again. "I think it's best to start fresh. I was thinking Magpiewing. Magpie for my black and white fur. Wing for my free spirit.", she meowed. She was open to suggestions from him, but she really liked it.

The tom was going to ask meekly but, took in a deep breath. He could do this. Standing up straight and talking in a deep breath and letting it out. He looked at Sootstar. "I would like to know why you gave me Snowpaw as an apprentice after I had asked you not to give me one." He spoke calmly, not abbrasive or anything. Just a question, and he added, "Though I do what to help the clan in many ways, I don't feel like I'll be a good mentor to Snowpaw and she deserves better."

"sootstar, About that hunting patrol, Can I go?" Goldenheart stepped into the leaders den, she was tierd of being cooped up in camp and wanted to do somthing and she had spotted the prey pile was a bit low

okay, so he’d cleaned himself up and he’d calmed himself down. now…. well, now he had to tell sootie. walking into sootstar’s den hesitantly, dayheart stalled for a second before saying something. “h.. hey sootie..? i have to tell you something. it’s,, um,, really important.” he could hear his heart beating loudly and became restless, tapping his tail softly on the floor. aaaaa. aaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Sootstar wrinkled his nose. It wasn't a bad name, not really, but he didn't think it really fit. Magpie- in particular, was a bit rough around the edges. Didn't sound nice, and from his memory magpies were awfully vicious creatures. No. Not right at all.

"What do you think about..." he replied slowly, still pondering.

"Heronflight? Same ideas just... a bit more fitting, I think."

"It's been over a moon since we last spoke, Russetstrike," he meowed, turning to give the tom his full attention, "And I've done some thinking."

"Your problem is badgers, yes? Unless you plan on hunting down a badger den and confronting your mortal enemy, that shouldn't interfere with your ability to teach an apprentice how to hunt, fight, swim. The very least you can do is try. Give it a... trial period. If it doesn't work, fine. I won't allow you to back down from this without putting in some semblance of effort, though, Russetstrike." He raised a brow, as if prompting any further questions, "You're very much a capable warrior and I can't have you quitting because you've gotten into your own head and made yourself believe otherwise."

Sootstar perked up as Dayheart as he entered the den, smiling up at him. A smile that immediately fell seeing the state the other tom was in. He had obviously made some effort to look presentable but anxious energy practically radiated off the tom in waves.

"What is it, Dayheart?" he replied, taking a cautious step toward him, "Is everything alright?"

Willowrose thought for a minute. It did sound a bit nicer. Plus it would be a special name. "Heronflight it is. Sounds great.", she meowed smiling, keeping her good eye on Sootstar. She would wear the name proud and she would be forever thankful to Sootstar. She wouldn't let him or her clan down.
