Winterpaw looked up at his leader, and had a think. He was a new apprentice, but he could do stuff! Maybe he could ask to help? Hm....

"Can I help with the battle for... uh.... Firefly Cove, Beansprout?" mewed the unusually young apprentice. He can be strong for his clan because... um... because... he was him and he can beat his sister in a fight, yeah... maybe? He never fought with Springpaw actually... maybe he should ask to.

He rushed over to his sister and asked, after he had gotten the response from Beansprout, if he could have a practice fight with her? Then he could see how strong he really was. Maybe he could be strong enough to become a leader someday! That would be cool...

Cloudpaw's eyes widened at the last statement. He didn't want battle!

Bluestone listened to the leader speak. the tom listened to all the cats argue about the camp gaurding and danstar and blah blah blah."ith no warriors gaurding camp their is a higher chance of kits being stolen, abused or killed if Every warrior lacks the patrols. I don't want to be disrespectful to other clanmates but i see a potential in the new rank" he spoke up with a firm tone"After we take firefly cove if successful will we be able to keep it from thunderclan? I know we fight for the territory but My question is. Is it worth the fight of losing many warriors?" he asked not wishing to spill the blood just for a territory. Yes they fight for food and territory but it does a great cost, the tom had time to figure things out and yet he still couldn't put his paw on it

At the sound of his name, Ferretsnap blinked up at the leader. Ah. He would be mentoring an apprentice. Given what had happened to Glisteningpaw, he felt a bit of surprise, but it would be fine. Right?

Duckpaw's approach had him looking down, leaning to touch his nose with the she-cat's. What were they learning first? Mm, he supposed a tour of the territory would be best for the first lesson.

"I will take you on a tour of the territory tomorrow," he responded.

Ferretsnap narrowed his eyes as Beansprout continued. A ShadowClan cat in the camp? How the hell did a ShadowClan cat manage to get through the territory and to their camp? Why had the Shields not stopped them? He felt a low growl rumble in his throat. However, as the leader mentioned the idea of a new rank, his ears perked in interest. A camp guard...

With the happenings of Glisteningpaw's death, it would be a good way to prove himself. That is, if Beansprout would allow him to become a guard. He flicked his tail and shoved the thought aside for later, instead focusing on the next news: Firefly Cove.

Mm. Interesting. While he didn't particularly understand why, considering so many deaths had already occurred and a war would only cause more, perhaps Beansprout had a reason. Regardless, he would be sure to prepare himself for a battle.

A brief discussion would then be held. Ferretsnap didn't move, instead staring at the leader and awaiting said discussion.

Lionpaw cringed when Beansprout called him out during the meeting. He was lectured by not one, but two adults in one day. Lionpaw thought it smart to stay on his best behavior for a while. He pouted and glared at his paws, pretending they were Minkkit. If only she had stayed in the nursery then he wouldn't have gotten in trouble! It was all her fault!

Beansprout continued the meeting as if he hadn't just embarrassed Lionpaw in front of the entire clan.

Three clanmates were found dead. Lionpaw didn't recall who they were, but he bowed his head all the same. Lionpaw vowed no clanmate would die on his watch once he became a warrior. He half-listened as Beansprout droned on. Blah blah, two cats have joined, blah blah, beware of lynx, blah blah, He hasn't gone to the Starcave yet. It all passed through one ear and out the next.

Lionpaw thought about the new rank the leader suggested. It sounded like a boring job! Sitting around camp all day, watching other warriors and apprentices get to leave and do real work. He silently prayed to Starclan that he would never be picked to be a guard. Anything but that! He'd much rather join in the upcoming battle for Firefly Cove! Maybe if he trained hard enough Beansprout would let him join. Lionpaw had yet to learn what Firefly Cove looked like, but one could assume it was a cove... with fireflies? Pretty on the nose if you asked him.

Beansprout continued the meeting and Lionpaw struggled to pay attention, still being only 2 moons old. He wished it would end already so he could start training. Finally, the leader announced that anyone not interested in the rest of the meeting could leave. He wondered what Beansprout would talk about, but presumed that it would be something boring like everything else he'd talked about.

He looked up at Darklight. If he was planning on staying then perhaps Lionpaw should too (though he hoped he wouldn't). He wanted to leave as good an impression on the dark tom, to make up for the one he started off with.

He eyed his mentor and waited for a response.

Bumblepaw's eyes were wide. A fight? Does- will I get to come? she wondered. Probably not, she was 3 moons old and had only just been apprenticed. Speaking of which, she still had no clue where Darktwist was.

Puddlekit scrambled away from his parents, who were currently bowing their heads in respect of the Clanmates that had been announced dead, and over to Beansprout. "Beansprout! Mister!" he mewed up at the tom, trying to scoot past all the warriors and apprentices around him. The little grey tomkit huffed and tumbled forward, then shook his fur out and looked up. "Mister, why'm I not an apprentice, too?" Puddlekit asked. He pointed a smoky-grey paw at his sister. "Buzzy gotta be an apprentice."

Meanwhile, Berryfur tipped his head, thinking about the possibility of a new rank; protecting his Clan and family was something he'd be more than happy to do, even if it wasn't in the same way he did now. "I think being guard would suit me well," he murmured to Amberspark. The tortoise-shell smiled in agreement.

long furred torbie - 3/100 - She/Her

She had patiently been waiting and sitting by her new mentor as the meeting continued. This was probably a once in a lifetime for her to be sitting in one spot but she didn't want to cause problems, just yet. Black and ginger ears perked when she heard a Beansprout call out puff and she looked over for the other. From where she was sitting she couldn't see very well just a few snippets of puff getting scolded. She would ask him about that later if she could have a run in with him, she was curious. Her attention went back to the leader as he spoke some more. Oh she sure remembered that weird cat showing up at the event, he sure was bold. Springpaw was just glad he had finally left, he could of ruined her chance to be an apprentice. She didn't have any opinions on the new clanmates since she never had any interactions with them.

She would make sure she'd go try to seek them out when she was free, that is if she found them. The torbie had heard about the deaths but hadn't come out since it seemed way too somber for her and she didn't want to make it worse. Was it even possible for twolegs to 'venture around water, she thought only riverclan liked water she learned something new every time. A part of her wondered if it was normal for a leader to not receive lives right away, she thought they would want to do that right away. She could probably imagine the amount of other cats or predators out there that would hurt others in a heart beat, that shadowclanner was a example. Now she was hearing about some sort of battle at firefly cove, some part of land.

Springpaw hasn't even been out yet so she has no idea what that was or were it even was. She looked around at the others around her and listened to as they spoke their opinions. It seemed some were okay with it and some didn't quit agree with the idea. "Why would we want this place called Firefly cove?" she looked up at Wispwatcher seeking some sort of answer. It was a bit confusing to her, weren't they happy with the land they had already? No one seemed to have any problems in her eyes, besides the deaths. She wasn't entirely sure if her and her mentor would be joining but a part of her guessed they probably wouldn't. After all she just became an apprentice, haven't yet learned how to fight properly.

And here came her brother, lil ol Winterpaw, she hadn't yet seen autumn come yet but she was sure they'd show eventually. Head tilted at her siblings request, fighting request? The newly made apprentice wasn't sure how that would work out, both hadn't been trained yet. "We don't even know any fighting moves yet?" she asked, would they just be swinging it? Paw rubbing her chin she looked like she was in deep thought, she guessed she could swing it. "We won't be able to even leave camp yet with out a warrior!" she pouted now that she thought more on it.

Nightfall's ears perked, she has her first apprentice? How wonderful, How kind. She hears a voice and turns to see Winterpaw, the apprentice she was given "Hello Hello Winterpaw! It's Nice to meet you and have you as my apprentice! We will start training tomorrow but I will show you the clan borders first" She spoke, she wanted to show him the borders first so he wouldn't trespass like she almost did when she was an apprentice
